Science Experiments And Stuffed Animals- Samantha Style

Mommy is totally into science projects.  So, guess what?  That means we do lots of science experiment-y things at home on the weekends. 

Here is a super tiny reindeer.

I put it in water and it will grow and grow and grow.  Of course I have a tape measure to know exactly how much it grows.  Science is particular about data that is real, right?

Swim Lessons!

Off to eat the Candyland cards.

Samantha is a silly billy.  She dressed up in Mommy's sweater and her swim cap.  Underneath?  Pajamas, of course!

She is a dancing silly billy!

And I am a cheerio eating cutie-patootie.

Sam is always one to keep me laughing at mealtime.  Hope she isn't trying to swim in her milk cup!

This is how I help put the real babies to sleep at school.

Before we knew it, time for swim lessons.  Samantha is a pro.

She is even thinking about blowing bubbles.

But not too seriously!

Mr. Kevin is hold a whale in a silly attempt to get Samantha to put her head under the water and blow bubbles.  Now, that's silly!

Rings aren't going to work either.

Yeah, no one was buying it.  Samnatha was as interested in survival skills as I was in my first lesson.

Gingerbread Houses And Playdates

Wowsers, Samantha sure makes an amazing gingerbread house.  She is a firm believer that all tall people look down so decorating the sides is a waste.  Best put those treats right in our bellies!

Samantha is ready for swim lessons!

Her first classes that require a swim cap.  They must have seen her sign up!

Mommy had to work all day so Daddy took a "vacation" day and spent it with Samantha and me.  You can bet we pulled out all our tricks from our bag o' fun.  Samantha ran around in her cowgirl boots and I was a bit demanding in the 'hold me' department.

Daddy took us to Emily's house for an afternoon playdate and he got a taste of what playdates are really like.  Nothing relaxing for the parents because we either fuss or fight between a few minutes of peaceful play.

Daddy came home and went right to sleep while Mommy made us dinner and gave us each a B-A-T-H.  I'm getting super good at pulling myself up and walking along the tub to shove the big soap into the bath.  Talk about a majorly satisfying splash!
