Play Date, Silly Style

I think Mommy got a bit jealous that we always play dress up and she doesn't.  So, in the spirit of sharing, I let her wear my tutu the only way she knew how.

Christina and Zacky had a lot of fun with the top.

Katie and I went to the family room by ourselves and played Max and Ruby.  Sometimes it's great to play just us kids!

Bathroom Talk

Daddy said "butt" and I told him no bathroom talk. He is supposed to be setting a good example!

I am really excited to go to Mira's house for a lunch pizza party.  But first we need to make our party favors.  Sparkly, snow playdough.  I wanted to help to make sure Mommy did it right with enough sparkles.    I put extra in and it turned out beautiful!

Then, it was off to Miras! Robert took Chrissy for a spin.

Then it was onto pizza making!

Even Chrissy got into the action.

Mommy was super helpful to make sure the sauce stayed on the table. Thanks, Mom!

Chrissy really didn't want Mommy to help with the sauce.

So she took pictures of Daddy and her to keep her busy.  Silly, Mommy!

Besties!

The group!

After amazing pizza, we made chocolate pops. Even Chrissy!

Best with peppermint, yummy!

I made it myself. Can you tell?

We had so much fun that Chrissy fell asleep before we got out of the neighborhood!

And we watched Cinderella with our chocolate pops. Yummy!

And Daddy read us bedtime stories.

Movie Night

On the way home today, I told Daddy that The Little Mermaid has scary parts but I won't be scared because I'm four and a half.  Oh, and I also told him that boys know some things but girls know everything.

Onward and legward, Ariel!

Don't get in the way of us and Ariel, please!

Not all of us were quite as excited the movie, just ignore our silly Daddy.

School Bound, Princess Style

Yeppers, even though Daddy is on vacation we girls are headed to school today.  Maybe not for the whole day, but we definitely have to make an appearance. So it might as well be a cute one, right?

Mommy had to work all day, but she sure found time to read us lots and lots of bedtime stories. I love reading time and love the extra snuggle time, too!

Christmas

It happened.  I mean, I thought it would but I wasn't sure.  My definition of 'good' didn't really match up to Mommy's.  And we saw him last night.  So, when I went downstairs this morning and saw all the presents, my heart leapt for joy!

I clutched my precious new art set and never looked back.

Christina was totally stoked to get her own backpack with her name on it.  Arizona in January, here she comes!

Why wait for January?

I scored some great dress up clothes.

And awesome books.
And art supplies and projects galore.

And then we took a breakfast break and made amazing gorilla bread. I helped!

Her cheese face is a little cheesy, if you ask me.

This look?  Priceless!

Wow, a pink sparkly beret. Hooray!

And matching light up wands.  Hours of fun ahead!

Christina figured out how the whole present opening thing works and may have opened presents that aren't hers.  Thank you notes are sure going to be interesting this year!

What would Christmas be without a family walk?

 Seriously!

The best part of the day, after Santa came?  Getting to talk to all of my family on the phone.  I even got to Facetime with some of them.  And, lots and lots of family time and getting to watch the entire movie Cinderella.  Pure heaven.  Merry Christmas all!

Santa's Coming, Santa's Coming!

Wow, this is it.  The day I've been waiting to come for almost two whole years.  Hey, it's a short but good life, what can I say?

We dressed up in our finest and I think we turned out super cute, don'tcha agree?

Then we mailed Samantha's letter to Santa.

And spent some girl time with Bridget while we waited for Santa to come.

Hot dog!  He's here!  Mommy and Daddy thought I would start crying once I was in his lap.  Ha!  What do they know?  Nothing, let me tell you.  I started howling as soon as I saw him walk in the room!

But calmed down when Mommy picked me up and told me he wasn't scary.  He was the present man.
Hmm, he's asking us if we've been good this year.  Don't all salt shakers need to be emptied daily?  Yes, you say?  Check.  I must have been a good girl.
Phew, I hope I get something good!

Samantha on Santa's lap!

She got a present. I knew she was good this year.  Wonder what she got.

Cinderella. Hooray!

What?  Me up on his lap?  I certainly wasn't his fan at the Pancake breakfast, but he's seems not so scary tonight.

This might just work!

Santa gave me a present!!!!
What is it?  You can't tell, but it's sandwich stuff for tea parties.  Hooray!

Bugs on an elephant?  Oh, my!

Hmm, this man is giving everyone presents. I think I finally get how this works.  I'll stand right next to him and hope I get more.

Mommy, do you have more presents for me?  Please!

Daddy and me.  Loves, loves!

Then we had to go home so we could leave a note with cookies and milk for Santa.  I don't know why he couldn't just follow us home from Bridget's, but whatever.

Note, cookies and milk- check!

Picture by the non-existent stockings?  Check!

Night Before Christmas story?  Check.

Mommy joking that Santa was going to skip our house.  Bad check!

Santa, love you!
