Ring, Ring!

What does an artistic girl do on a Saturday morning?  Well, if Mommy's in a good mood, then you paint!
Can't see what it is?  A horse.  Daddy got it for me for my birthday!

Christina watched.
And then I made a card for Uncle Bob's birthday.  I did it all by myself without any help spelling at all!
I made a castle with flags.
And then drew him some ducks.
While Christina went on a bug catching adventure.
And then we sneaked away upstairs and jumped and jumped and jumped.
Wahoo!

Now this is what Saturdays are made for!

And then Daddy and his personal shopper (that's us!) went in search of the most perfect presents for Mommy's birthday.  No, we can't tell you what we picked but she is going to love it!
Oh, and Daddy napped and Mommy wanted to run to the store and I wanted to stay home.  So, I practiced dialing her phone number on the phone and sent her on her way.

I might have called her seven times in five minutes and then I took a break from calling her because Daddy woke up and smiled at how grown up I am becoming.

Hiya Ben!

So, we woke up super duper early and headed to Connecticut for a special play date with a.... prairie dog?
Samantha had an up close and personal!
No, we didn't drive all this way for a prairie dog, silly.  We drove up to see Ben!
Here I am!
Seems like this is so Samantha with her big move to kindergarten.

And me too.  Remember I'm going to preschool next week!

We love all the anmemals!

Mommy fell in love with the otters.  Wonder why?

We're riding a polar bear?

And a lion?

And a horse?

This is a great zoo!
Girl power!

Samantha loves this leash.  She and Ben get to run and run and run and laugh and laugh and laugh!

Mommy, can I jump in the water fountain?
No?  Then Samantha said back to the horse!

And then I found the peacocks.  Super cute, right?

After lunch, we knew it was time to head back home cuz Ben needed a nap and we had to get home and see our Daddy.

I wanted a big hug and wasn't going to take no for an answer.
I mean it!
Gotcha, cutie!!

Ah, special girl moment in action.

And on the way home we actually passed Newark airport as Daddy's plane was landing. We saw his plane land.  Way cool!

And even cooler?  We got home and Samantha found a special letter.  It was tricky to wait for Daddy but so worth it so he could be a part of her special moment.

She found out her teacher!

See?

I felt left out, so I hopped into Mommy's lap for an impromptu snuggle.

Still can't see it?
Wahoo!
Oh, and Samantha then informed us that the West Wing was wrong, it's really called West Windsor.. Mommy and Daddy laughed when she wasn't looking but I saw them!

Thrilling Thursday

Well, it's here. My very last day at Harmony and I'm happy, sad, freaked, thrilled all rolled into my belly.

Mommy made me oatmeal with banana. It's one of my favorite breakfasts. Yummy!

And, the perfect dress for my last day of school.
And a special video for Daddy. Since he can't be here for my talent show, I am giving him a sneak peek!

Last drop off at Harmony EVER.  Ack!

Here is the program.
Here I am next to Andrew, Mira and Emily getting ready to sing our lungs out!

And, go!

Yay!

Christina's class isn't allowed to perform since they're babies.  But, she is the best cheerer onerer ever.

See what I mean? Christina and Rohan are cheering Mira and me on.
This smile makes me super duper happy!
And after the talent show Lauren, Mira, Emily and I tried to get a picture to celebrate our final day at Harmony.  Turns out it's physically impossible to get a decent picture with all four girls looking and smiling at the camera at the same time.  Good thing it's the actual moments that make the memories and not the pictures taken that are so super duper special.
See what I mean?  You can't buy hugs like this!
Or dancing like this. Go Mira!

And then I shared our picture rock tradition with Emily and Mira.

And then we went to where else but Ruby Tuesdays?  We were so lucky to get our own table!  We prepped our moms by telling them that the purpose of us going to Ruby Tuesday's is to make nine thousand bathroom trips, not to eat.  Hooray!

Now this is how to end an amazing five year ride! Thanks for all the special friends and moments that I'll remember forever!

Em and I decided we should sneak a trip to Gil and Berts in to end this amazing day on a sugar high.  And it was worth it all!

Back home, Mommy and I sneaked in a special snuggle with Puzzles.
And this is one of Mommy's favorite moments today.

Mommy mentioned that we are getting new bathrooms and I immediately asked if she was going to make my bathroom smaller.
