Playdate Central

And entering the station, we have Christina in her baby's crib.

And here we have yet another dress up outfit of the day, complete with Christina's devil horns.
Right here, she says!
One of my favorite things? To turn off the lights, turn on the music and watch our ocean movie.

Betcha Mommy will never find us!
And back to the day, princess style.  Christina is convinced she is ready for pumps.
I think I'll stick to loads of pretty necklaces and my magic wand.
Right back atcha, sister!
Guess who couldn't balance in her pumps? What a baby!
After lunch it was official playdate time.  Emily and Robert came over while the big men folk went to their house for football.

What better way to spend the day than swinging in the sun?

Soakin' up the sun!

See?  All of us can pump our legs.

While Roger lounges in the shade.

Teamwork!

Princess dress up time!

Princesses posing for pictures.

Attention, playdate on the move.  To the chocolate factory!  With free samples! Yes, that is Christina's cheesiest cheese face ever.
She loves chocolate.
A lot.  She's even smiling at her chocolate.
Finally, Mommy took the mess away and told Christina it was all gone.  Chrissy cried, pointed around and said, "not all gone!!".

Then we went to Emily's house for round three.

Elmo wanted to go on a walk and that seemed reasonable to Christina.

Emily and I stuck with big girl things like pretend kitchen!

Nemo May Remain Lost.....

So, someone (Daddy) decided that he and Samantha were going to see Nemo without any babies (that's me).  Here they are watching Nemo in 3-D. Super fancy!

Silly glasses sure complete this look, though I'm not sure that says much.
I prefer to sport these glasses during my Mommy and me bonding time around town.
That's how you return library books in style.
Boo-yah!

As for big sister Samantha?  Freaked out by the scary parts and they came home after 45 minutes.  Told ya I should have been there! Now we'll never find Nemo.

Mommy let me play on the iPad. I can unlock it, swipe to my games, launch and play all my favorites. Who needs a grown-up?

We decided to celebrate it being a great Saturday by heading to Bonefish Grill for some art project time and yummy fish.  I am a huge fish fan, so this was perfecto for this here one year old!

Screamin' For Ice Cream!

Can it be? Another week has flown by and we can fill our bellies with pizza and ice cream?  Hooray, I say!

I dare say Christina feels the same way about our treasured Friday nights.
Have you ever thought about getting in between Christina and ice cream.  Take it from me, I wouldn't recommend it!
She means business about her ice cream and will defend it with all four teeth.

Me? I'm a bit more mellow and know that Mommy wouldn't really take my tasty treat.

Butterbug

I can't believe it.  I'm home sick.  I never get to stay home sick since I was a baby.

Yeah, I'm milking this for all I can.  Eating on the couch. Now this is what I'm talking about!

Mommy felt so bad she even let me eat chips.  Who cares that they are 'veggie' chips, right?  A carb is a carb, I always say!
After fueling up, I mustered up the strength to create a new species.  A cross between a butterfly and lady bug.  I better
run to the patent office right now and protect this here beauty.

A little later, Mommy went to 'back to school' night and found the project I did on my first day of school.  Not one of my better moments. I think my art skills have really matured in the last three or so weeks, dont'cha think?

Yo-Yo

How else do you say 'yogurt' when your'e my age?

Yo-yo is super clear, if you ask me!
Ask and you shall receive a messy yogurt face!
Look, it's my friend Roman and his silly face making stencils just like Samantha does.  It's a trend started by my big sister. Super duper cool!

Swim, Samantha, Swim

So, Mommy comes up with some silly things.  And I might respond in turn.
After walking out of school behind a group of people, I looked up at Mommy and said, "Following the masses is really really fun."

Then we headed to swim lessons, where Christina always takes my goggles.  She says 'share' but she means 'give that to me now!'

Now this is one for the holiday cards.

And a close runner up is this beauty!

While I'm in the pool, Christina and Mommy are left to their own entertainment.

Me?  Kicking my way across the pool!
 Check this out!

And this one, now that I"m a pro!

I'm fire girl Samantha!

After swim lessons and dinner is our time to channel our inner lazy.

Halfer? Not Even Close!

I am so super duper proud of Daddy for signing up for his first half marathon ever.  I'm not sure why they call it a 'half' when it's really super duper far.

Christina told Daddy how proud she was of him with her signature cheese face.
And I did the same.

Then we parted ways and found a perfect spot to see him pass us. Score!

And then we headed off to Target to pass the time.

Those ways might have included yogurt.
And boogies.
Then we headed over to the finish line and waited until we saw the yellow shirt before we went bananas cheering Daddy on. Hooray!
Go, Daddy, go!

You're almost there!
You did it!

Half marathon? Check!

And then we went to the car and slept.
I'm pretty sure that Mommy and Chrissy then snuck off for some ice cream.
Chrissy is such a big girl that she feeds herself.  Good call, sister.  Mommy would just try to eat the ice cream herself, I think!

Super yummy!
