Boa- Woah!

Um, yeah.  Mom had a lot of fun getting permission for our Daisy troop to bring a boa constrictor to school.

Here I am petting it. For real.

This is a lot to absorb.  I need to think about it.

Christina was in on the action to.

She was holding on to Elephant and Piggie for her security blanket.

We were a little overwhelmed.  Oh, and Christina got into it with one of my dear friends.  It's an emotional day!

Off to Teddy's. Thank goodness for the just for fun bag!

Here I am  teaching Cindy how to word searches work.

And what you do when you find a word. We use highlighters because they are easier to work with then pencils circling the words and covering up letters.
Guess who is well fed and ready for a party!
Yup, this is what an amazing school fundraiser looks like!

Firewoman Nutritionist At Your Service

Fire Safety is 24/7 in this house!

Firewoman Samantha here to make you a super healthy morning green shake.

Um, excuse me.  How else would you wear a scarf?
Ah, that is better!
Christina felt left out so here is a bonus picture of her.
PS- want to know how Christina tells Mommy and Daddy which Frozen song she wants to listen to and how they know which song she is talking about?  Here is how it goes

The baby song?
We know better
The song where Elsa is sad?
Let it go
The song where Anna and Elsa talk?
For the first time

Jump, Jump, Jump In!

Remember our travels on Main Street when we saw the fire trucks? Well, turns out they were gearing up for an ice rescue training.

Well, in Mommy's world that means we totally needed to check it out. And, check it out we did!

This was our view for over an hour.

They used a chainsaw to make a super huge hole in the ice and then jumped in the ice.
Told you!

How do you follow up this amazing morning?  Hours of matchbox cars!  Worried we are losing our 'girlie' title?  Ha!  We do all this great stuff in pretty dresses!

Steps And Sirens

Yep, this is our family.  We like to get our steps in no matter how chilly it is outside.  And we do it together!

Even better when we see the fire trucks out!!

Samantha took this great picture of us.  Thanks, Samantha!
Your turn.
Looking good!
Me too!

Besties!

Daddy went to Samantha's centers today and they made a president.

A hairy president.
Hello there!

And then Amanda came over for dinner and playing. We had a blast eating pizza and ice cream and playing dress up and running around.  She is such a good friend- I am lucky!

100th Day Of School And Musical Fun

Today Christina met with the service dogs.  It's the first time that she hasn't freaked when touching a dog.  She was a wee bit nervous but Gabriel stayed close by. He is such a good friend!

You can see Christina asking if the puppy is friendly and the letting the puppy smell her closed fist. Mommy taught us this!

And then she started petting this really friendly puppy without freaking out. Hooray!

Meanwhile, I celebrated the 100th day of school with a super cool crown.
And we besties celebrated at Panera for dinner before heading to the Music Man, Jr performance.
Susanne, me, Ani and Sarah.  Love this picture of us!

Christina was a bit overwhelmed at the Music Man, Jr. She didn't know that so many of my friends would be there and she kinda wanted to hang out with just me.

Sarah and I were a bit nervous during one number.

But it turned out fine!

And Christina perked up too!

Bet you're wondering about a musical on a school night. But it's okay. The dress rehearsal is always on a Thursday and it starts earlier than a normal performance so kiddos like us can see it without being grouchy the next day.

It's Official

Only Uncle Travis could find a card like this for Christina.

But the real news happened when Mommy found this in my backpack. She is having trouble accepting that I officially have a boyfriend.  She knew that he loves me because of the love notes he sent home with me when she was in Orlando on a business trip but she didn't realize it has gotten serious.

Before change the subject, one true story I overheard this weekend between Mommy and Daddy.
When Mommy was waiting at the walker's door on Valentine's Day, she saw Aaron's Mommy.  Ms. Cherlyanne told her the story of the special Valentine.  She had prepared Valentine's with adjectives to describe people and Aaron then checked the appropriate boxes so each Valentine was unique to each person. The boy were the easiest and the girls were a bit harder except Samantha's.  He immediate said pretty and that wasn't even one of the choices.  She asked him again because she didn't want him to like Samantha for just physical features, so then he picked kind, smart and awesome. And she also added pretty as a choice.  So, Samantha received one more adjective than all the other kids in the class.

Yes, my parents are freaking and now I radically change the subject.

Look what Christina made in school today! An anorexic Reindeer!

Loving my new hair extensions!

Christina too!

Besties All Around

I had school today but Christina didn't so she went to Aley's house.  They played dress up.

And dolls.

And hugged as only besties can!

And then Julia came home with me after school. We played dress up.

We are so super cute.

And super talented. We developed, wrote and performed a play!
