Christmas Traditions, Messy And Memorable

For the last nine months, I've been looking forward to joining our family Christmas tradition. Today was the day!  Samantha and I stripped down and happily swished our hands in green paint to make a Krempa-Burt Christmas tree and brown paint on our footsies made the trunk.  Daddy got such a kick out of watching us get messy and knowing that there was no point in telling us not to make a mess.  Even Samantha knew this was the one time all year to make the most out of getting messy.

Samantha was as happy as could be, though you can't tell from this picture.  What on earth!  As for me?  Turns out I'm destined for a life of gardening with my green thumb. Literally!

Samantha Stylin' Sunday

When I woke up this morning, I could just tell it was going to be an awesome day. I was fresh off an awesome party and looked forward to ballet rehearsal this afternoon.

Chrissy looked forward to waffles.

And praising the waffle god.
Until said waffle god was booted for the puffs god.  I think it was a fair trade, how 'bout you?
As for me?  My tried and true.  Apples, eggs and cashews.  Achoo!

Then my ears perked up when Mommy mentioned grocery shopping.  I hopped out of my booster seat and jetted off to pick the most perfect errand running outfit I could find.  I think I succeeded.

Mommy, I'm ready!

Come on goose!
I can't quite share with you the reactions I got from the other Wegmanites.  Oh, and of course we also went to Michaels and Babies R Us.  I'm pretty sure some pregnant women are a lot more nervous about becoming mommies after seeing me today.  Watch out world, I have fashion oriented opinions and I want to share them!

FHA Approved And Blizzard Proof

Today it's time to build our gingerbread houses.    I sure hope Mommy has a lot of glue because they're gonna get decorated!

Chrissy and Ava formed an impromptu band and showed us that they sure do have rhythm- who would have guessed?

Chrissy adores fishies.
All of us hard at work decorating our homes.
I made mine with lots of snowy.
"It's very snowy" was my catch phrase of the afternoon.

Alex rocked his house and nibbled on treats whenever Ava distracted his Mommy.
Chrissy was a bit bummed to be excluded but Mommy said she would try to eat all the trimmings.

Remember Henry?  I'm a bit torn with Alex and Henry over, but think I played it pretty cool, don't you?

I decided to focus on my winter storm.

It's very snowy.

After we finished the houses, we girls decided to go on vacation.  Pack'er up!

And off we go!

Emily was a fire person, baker and princess all in one.

Fasten your seat belts.  We're ready for take-off!

My masterpiece.

In all its glory.
Can you tell that I made this house entirely by myself.
With absolutely zero parent involvement?  Then you'd be absolutely correct!

It was a great gathering and a great time was had by all. Thanks everyone for being such great friends to me and each other.  You're the bestest!

Silly Spray- A True Miracle Worker

We sure had a lot to do before Connor and Johnny's birthday party this afternoon.  It takes time to make a pizza cake, you know.

And even more time to tame the mane.  Yeah, even I'm a little nervous.  On a side note, Mommy thinks it's a tad ridiculous that I pick and choose when to wear a bib, but it's never mealtime anymore.
Wowsers, silly spray sure works wonders.  I clean up really nicely.  Vroom, vroom!

I'm sure lovin' this birthday party.  Happy birthday, Connor and Johnnie!
Mommy took us girls and gave Daddy an afternoon off. It was a fair trade because Daddy got Chrissy sleep training duty this week and deserved a much needed break. Mommy played pass the baby and all the parents drooled over her cuteness.  Yeah, but she's not potty trained. I'd take me over diapers any day!

We had a blast and I cried when it was time to go home.  Wouldn't you?

Pizza Cake- Pilgrim Style

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  In honor of turkey day, we made pot roast crock pot and a pizza cake.  They were super yummy and gave us all a chance to relax and catch up on much needed family time.

I made a match!

Back To Mayberry

Sadly, we had to head home today.  We made the most out of our family time by visiting the Torpedo Factory and having a great lunch at the Fish Market.  My food came from Mommy's backpack.  Wish I had french fries!

We headed home and got stuck in traffic so I cried for two hours straight.  No joke.

How was your day?

Resident Of The Day

Mommy and Chrissy woke up at 5am and headed to the lobby so Daddy and I could catch some more zzzzz's.  When I finally woke up, I found the best surprise.  What's this?

Is it true?
Could it be?
Yay!  I'm resident of the day!  Samantha B, that's me!

Fresh off this excitement, we ate breakfast and headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to see them and Auntie Diana and Uncle Ziggy.  Chrissy loved AD, but was less excited for the camera.
But the she saw Daddy and perked right up.
AD, you tell the bestest stories.  Look at how interested Chrissy is!

Hey, Chrissy is smiling!
And trying to eat the camera.  No, I'm not joking.
Instead of a nap we headed to Uncle Travis' new place and Mommy made her own entertainment by handing Chrissy to Uncle Travis.

He is always funny to watch when holding a baby.  That used to be me and now I can laugh at how awkward he is with a baby.
Don't drop her!

Phew, she's in safer hands now.  Thanks, AD!

Chrissy's new favorite car toy is the singing book.
And my new favorite toy is Hungry, Hungry Hippos.  Thanks, AD!  An added bonus?  Beating UT!
Badly beating UT.

Grandpa is great with Chrissy. Except when he tells his "funny" dracula joke.  She laughs because she doesn't know better.

What a great picture of AD and UZ.  Love you!
Ah, the Krempa nose.  How can you miss?
Hi Grandma, Chrissy likes to bounce really high.  You got it?  Great!
