It Had To Happen Sometime....

Mommy landed at Newark and hightailed it right to school to lead our Daisy meeting.

We helped a boy scout with his Eagle project  by making cards and sending flags to the troops.

Now, here is where things get interesting.  Mommy comes home and starts going through the mail and school paperwork that Daddy stacked up while she was out of town.  She gets to one interesting paper that says

"I love Samantha. Happy valentines Samantha. Love, Aaron"

Yep, Mommy freaked.  My first love note!

Writer Central

I'm turning into a real writer. Spelling and punctuation are optional in kindergarten, but my stories are superb.
Also superb? My fabulous hairstyles.

My Own Centers

Mommy is leaving us. For real. And the kicker? She is headed to Orlando, Florida. Like the place where Mickey Mouse and all the Princesses live.

But, first, Mommy bundled Samantha up and sent her on the school bus.
And Daddy brought me to school where I played a matching game with Kristin.
And then I puzzled my heart out.
Won't you come read with me?  I saved you a spot!
It's one of my favorite stories.

And Mommy?  Yep, she found the dinosaurs in Downtown Disney!
PS- I learned it was Miss Melissa's birthday this weekend so I asked Mommy to call her Mommy and then I can go to her party.  They let two year olds in bars, right?

Silly me!

Centers And Variety Show

I love that Mommy comes to visit me in centers.
And my friends love to give me bunny ears.
We have the best teacher and I love my friends.
Susanne, Sarah and me rocking it before the Variety Show.  Yep, we are IN the show!
That's me getting ready to walk across the stage.
Almost there.
And I did it!
I rocked my performance!
Emily and I had a blast.
And Christina went on stage to see what it was like.  She's a natural.
Ronin and I are awesome friends!

Form AND Function

Loving our activities at school.Sometimes I think about ways to cause a ruckus.  Can you tell I'm coming up with something good?

Amanda is one of my besties.
Look, I made a helicopter!

Isn't it pretty and functional?

Just Call It!

Yep, it's snowing and it took the school forever to call it. Mommy got kinda pissy and declared that we were staying home no matter what. Thankfully, the school came around to her way of thinking and we spent the day all bundled up trouncing through the snow.
What a beautiful backyard!

Sort!

So, I think Mommy might have lost her marbles.  I  know I lost her puzzle piece. She has been working on her 500 piece puzzle for what seems like forever and then she busted me.  I 'forgot' to tell her that I had secured my most favorite piece from her puzzle and walked around with it forever until I got distracted and permanently lost it.  Boy, was she in rare form when she threw away a puzzle after putting together all 499 pieces.

Well, moving on!

She pulled herself out of that nasty funk and plopped me in front of the 100 piece pony puzzle. Straight, bumpy- sort!
Samantha helped me and we turned this into a supportive sister fest.  We cheered each other on the entire puzzle.
Me in action.
Getting closer!

Almost Sleepover!

Today was amazing. The grown ups watched football while we besties had a great dinner and watched a movie. Love our reunions!

Ballet, Buddies And Diners- Hooray!

Ballet is really hard work. I get all dressed up and then really just want to hang out with Samantha.
Reach!

We headed over to Americana Diner with Mr. Brian and Ms. Betsey for some lunch. I was a Hello Kitty cowgirl on a mission to cover all human and non-human surfaces with stickers.
Christina was a french fry eating dog walker.

We had an absolute blast and dedicated our entire afternoon to catching up with dear friends and getting our junk food on.

Tale of Two Sisters

Today there is no school for me. Mommy booked us a fancy, fancy photo shoot and brought us up to a studio and asked us to smile. And smile we did!

And then we drove by the place where Daddy used to live.  When we got home, we learned we were one building off. So, this is *kinda* where Daddy used to live.
And then we dropped Christina off at Harmony. And, guess what?  I saw Emily. Hooray!
Since it's Friday, that means ice cream night and this is how we really look when there isn't a professional photographer around.

Bursting with pride, Christina announced, "If I eat all these waffles, my tummy will
get so BIG!"

And I might have been a bit on edge tonight and shared my feelings. And Mommy shot back the following.

Samantha, first it's not "I'm really pisty", it's "I'm really pissy" and second, only Moms can talk like that.
