Candy Central

Halloween is kinda a big deal in Cranbury. We have a parade up and down Main Street and all the parents take off work to cheer us on.  I decided to be a friendly witch. I'm so lucky that Mrs. G gave us all of her daughter's old costumes.  These are the best hand me downs ever!

I'm a cute witch.
And I know it!
Mommy and Daddy had a bit of a struggle getting to Christina's parade on time. And Mommy didn't make it.  Christina was a hot mess.
You have never seen such a sad Anna.
Daddy tried to make her feel better, but it wasn't working.
She felt better when we went to Ani and Milo's for dinner before trick or treating.
Here is the fabulous four- the friendly witch, Anna, the fire fighter in his truck and the ladybug!
Gil and Bert's hands out the bestest candy!
And hot chocolate!
We are so grateful the town's professional photographer takes pictures as a fundraiser.
These are Mommy's pictures, but the backdrop is totally professional and we ordered the good pictures!

Milo and Christina holding hands!
My favorite pumpkin of the night.
And we found Olaf, I mean Robert!
Action shot.
Christina was finished, but we had one more place to go- Jack's!  His family hosts a huge post trick or treating party and we had a blast!

On our way back home, Christina started talking, she started by saying, "there were good parts and bad parts to my day. The bad part happened when you didn't show up in time to see me in the parade and I really wanted you there. The good part was Milo and candy."

My sister sure knows how she feels and has no problem sharing. Maybe I can learn a thing or two.

Back home, we counted our candy and Christina guilt tripped Mommy into extra pieces of chocolate.

Me? I scored extra candy because Mommy felt so bad about Christina. Score!

Warning, You Might Throw Up

Mommy volunteered at lunch today.  I wore my Red Riding Hood sweater. During lunch, I asked her to hold it while I went on the swing.  She threw it over her shoulder. And when she gave it back to me she wondered why the hood was wet.  Horrified, I looked at her and ran away.  She was super confused and ran after me. When she caught me, I cried and cried and choked out the story of how the hood dipped into the potty. I was sure a time out was coming.  But I was wrong. Instead, Mommy gently removed my sweater, set it on the ground and snuggled me more. She told me I wasn't in trouble, but I really shouldn't wear anything that has potty water on it. She took it home with her for an immediate date with the washing machine.  I'm pretty sure she needs therapy after her shoulder came in contact with potty water.

Thankfully we made it to Arts Council and I made this gem.

And this gem was created during acting class!

Don't Go There

Mommy walked into my room this morning and tried to wake me up. I rolled over and, with my eyes still closed, said, "Don't go there".

Things got better after school on an ice cream outing with Ani.

And Emily!
Then, Mommy picked Christina up and we stopped West Windsor Plainsboro North High School's Trunk or Treat...In The Rain.
Because there weren't many kids in the rain, we loaded up on candy.
Happy Halloween to us!

LLC Bound

Mommy and Daddy went to a grown ups only Halloween party last night and Miss Melissa babysat.

Christina hit Miss Melissa. It wasn't a good morning today. Christina had to make an apology card and it took forever.

Then all was good again and we had a great family snuggle.
Guess what?  Pet sitting again!  I think we need a name and an LLC.

Elephants!

We are in full dragon dress up to wish Demi a very happy birthday.

We didn't actually have any dragon dress up so I went as Mini Mouse and Samantha came as a witch. The Philadelphia Zoo came to the party and did face painting and brought animals for us to meet and learn about.

Samantha is ready to meet some animals!
Me too!
When we were meeting animals, Mommy was there and heard a boy ask Evan if Samantha was his girlfriend. Evan said yes and Mommy's eyes got as big as an elephant.  Samantha has two boyfriends. Woah!

Honorable Mention In The House

Pet sitting again and making sure we take good care of Sally and Simon.

We then had a fantastic after school play date at Gil And Bert's.
Cheese.

Then we went to Village Park for a campfire.  It was so much fun.  Go Girl Scouts!

Then it was onto Teddy's where we sat for over an hour but didn't get any food.  We finally got our food and had to get it to go because we had to get to the pumpkin night. It wasn't a good dinner night for us and Ani's family and Sarah and Susanne's family. Grr.

But, our empty stomachs made the most of it and we were first in line for face painting.  It's my favorite activity.
Christina got her face painted too.
She loved it.
Bringing Burt sunshine to Halloween!
Jack'o lantern in progress!
Cheese!  Yep, that's eating our dinner from an hour ago.
Family night!
Christina did a great job. Way to go Christina!
I'm hard at work in the middle of my pumpkin carving.
Then Mommy had to bring Christina home because she was exhausted. When Daddy and I came home, he proudly displayed the honorable mention. Look familiar?  It's mine.
And Mommy was jazzed that someone Boo'd her with JELLO SHOTS.  I like jello a lot but Mommy said these were special and I'm not allowed to have these. I'm not sure why, but boo!

Target- It's Where All The Cool Playdates Are

We went to Target after school to pick up a few things and I ran into Evan. I forgot all about Mom and headed right to the electronics.

Then we went driving.
Then I went for it.  A hug in the toy aisle.
I love Daddy's costume so much that I tried them myself.
It brought out my inner tiger.
The glasses are magic.  They turned Christina into a disco girl.
A reading disco girl.
