Virginia Is For Great Photographers

Just in case you haven't followed our week, it went something like this.
Monday- Samantha went to Sesame Place in PA.
Tuesday- We went to the Zoo in CT.
Today- We went to Virginia to hang with Grandma Carol and Grandpa Frank.

Yeah, this is how we approach life.  Nothing gets us down and no distance is too great to travel for good family, friends and experiences.

And we capture all these great moments with Mommy's camera.  The photographer?  The cutest three year old in town. ME!

Joshua's butt!
Hey, don't be so harsh. I'm only three.
Cheese!
Money shot!

Roar For Benny!

Oh, my goodness. Mommy has the worst sense of direction. And even worse is that she prefers to "wing it".  Yep, that's how we ended up in New York City during morning rush hour on our way to the Beardsley Zoo in Connecticut.

When we finally arrived we got into the animal spirit. See Samantha roar!

I can roar too!
Samantha spread her wings.
And I did too.  My wing span is huger than it was last year when we went to this zoo to visit with Benny.
Sam and Benny!
Burt girls!
And a pesky toasted sesame seed that completely freaked Mommy out.  Like she called the dentist and made an emergency appointment even though they said they didn't have any appointments.  Don't  try to turn Mommy away. It's pretty much hopeless.
Doesn't everyone climb on the backs of alligators?

Benny, see that alligator? Don't get too close or he will bite you!
Yeah, he is totally checking me out.
Burt girls can't resist horses!
Benny and me!
Look how close Samantha got to this bird!
All too soon our fun day had to come to an end.  They had to drive back to Boston and we had to drive back to New Jersey.
We made it home much faster without driving through New York City and then we stopped at the dentist and waited and waited until the dentist could squeeze us in and take the seed out of my gums. Easy peasy lemon squeeze!

Three Cheers For Long Distance Friends!

Mommy took the day off work so I could give Zoey a hug.

Oh, and hang with Roman!  Now that's what I'm talking about!
We love our annual visit with Roman and his mom and this year his Grandma came with us.  Spin, spin!
Elmo!
Hi there!

We all love cookies!
Sunny days sweeping the clouds away.
Did you know we are old enough to ride some rides alone?
Like this one.
But nothing beats the truck for photo time.
Roman's Mommy is kinda a weak stomach so it was just the two of us on this ride.
She would freak and throw up but not us!
Can't go to Sesame Place without a carousel ride!
We just love, love our annual visits.  How crazy is it that Mommy works with people in Florida and Michigan and I'm friends with their kids.  And even crazier that we get to hang out with each other.  Planes, trains and automobiles!

Pretty In Pink

Christina celebrated a lazy Sunday by waking up at 5am and sitting next to Mommy while she blogged.  Christina enjoyed her coffee and even had a lid on it while she wasn't sipping it so it would stay hot. And she listened to Tumblebooks read her Mercy Watson. If you haven't read Mercy, I think you should run to your nearest library. Mercy is the best. She is a pig who loves hot buttered toast.  Yum!

Recognize this beauty?  It's me!  Mommy was super de duper lucky to get this dress from a kind Cranbury mom who put a whole bunch of clothes and toys and books on her lawn.  Mommy stopped by and spent half and hour sorting through stuff and texting other Mommies about the amazing finds.

Mommy was so excited to find this pink dress that is way too big for me now, but won't be in a few years.  But I couldn't help myself and just had to get all dressed up. I took a bath, put on earrings and a fancy dress and watched a movie.
Pretty in Pink!
Christina had to put on a dress too.

Actors, Pools And Pluto

Mommy is trying to get us out of the house for Amanda's pool party. But we aren't ready yet. We are still rehearsing for our show tonight. I can't believe Mommy didn't know there is a show tonight.  Can't she read minds?  Umph.

We finally made it to Amanda's party and quickly found ourselves with Doritos fingers.
Yum!
Samantha loved the cupcakes too.
Cheese!
We played in the pool all afternoon and I'm loving the water this summer.  Wahoo!
Somehow we talked about planets and I told them that there are only eight planets because Pluto got the boot.  They giggled, but I'm serious!

Up, Up, Up And Away

I wait for this day every year.  I missed it last year because I wouldn't eat my vegetables, but this year I made it happen. I gagged my way through peas all week long.  Yes, I still gag on vegetables. I don't get how Christina likes vegetables but I really just don't like them. Mommy tells me stories about me throwing up as a baby when she fed me healthy food.  But, I'm now six and healthy food will prevail. How's that for big girl will and vocabulary?

But first, an early morning jog with LG!

Patriotic Samantha!
Green screen time.  I'm a ballerina!
Christina is a ballerina too.
A sassy ballerina!
Hanging on the beer chair
And with elephants.  No, silly.  They aren't real. We are at a hot air balloon festival, not a zoo!
A gecko. Now, THIS is cool!
Launch time!
We love this so, so, so much!
While the hot air balloons launch, we watch and run around.
This year, we all made it to the festival so Daddy ran around with us. I think he said it was part of his marathon training.
Wow, this is beautiful.
Cheese!
Look, it's me with an Angry Bird.
So pretty.
Argh!
Daddy took this beautiful picture and I love it.!
