V Is For Mommy

Today was show and tell.  Letter V.  Most kids have limited options for this week.  Villads is covered, but that's about it.  Except for me and my secret weapon.  A Mommy named Vanessa!

Yeppers, that's right. I brought in a picture of my Mommy for show and tell.  Boo-yah!

Then, the icing on her cake is I decided to make a portrait of her.  It's lovely, right???

Christina made flowers, but they don't start with V.  Rule breaker!
At dinner Mommy gave me kidney beans.  I had to explain to her that this here beauty is a mermaid so she really served me mermaid beans. She had trouble keeping a straight face during dinner.  I'm not sure why, but I overheard Mommy and Daddy laughing over my hair do. And, before you ask- they are not caterpillars.  They are hair clips from Bridget and I love them very much!
Speaking of love very much. Guess who snuck home a whole day early?  I love my Mommy and Daddy so much!

My latest dabbling into kindergarten land is the use of, "what's up, again?" over and over.  Huge emphasis on again. Mommy tried telling me something about not saying "again" but she is a grownup so she doesn't know how kids speak.  Moms!

Have Diaper, Will Travel

I think you might not be able to tell from this picture, but we like to dress ourselves and it makes for some spectacular outfits.  Yes, Samantha is wearing a neon pink dress with a black lace skirt.  The tights are grey and purple.  Boots are brown and the gloves are purple.  No, she is most definitely NOT color blind.  Why does everyone always ask that?

Me?  Yeppers, that a diaper in my hand.  Normally, it's my wipe that I like to carry around but today it was all about the diapers.  Mommy went with it since it was a clean, unused diaper. But, the teacher sure looked at us when we walked into the room!
Mommy likes to send these pictures to Daddy when he travels.  It makes him chuckle, but I'm not sure why.
I love Samantha's smile, don't you?

Princess/Unicorn/Little Red Riding Hood

Ah, the nightly fights over who is who on the little mermaid family tree. Ariel and Alana and their five other sisters- keep them straight or you're hosed in this house....Just ask Mommy how often she is banished to the kitchen for calling us the wrong name!

Can't you tell who I am?

Aunt Holley and Aunt Travis sent this great picture to Mommy today.  Want to know what this is besides the most beautifulest unicorn ever?  My artwork, of course.  This is what I made with them on my special date on Chrissy's birthday.  I have the bestest Aunt and Uncle ever.  They call me all the time and we Facetime.  Want to know the best part?  Nibby talks to me too!
Wowsers, we are getting really, really good at making puzzles that have no straight edges.  I'm so ready for kindergarten!

It's Math Week in school and Mommy came to visit so we could do math projects together. I know froggies.

Counting by tens?  Easy peasy!

Bean bag toss, shapes and colors style!

If You Give A Mouse A Cookie

I read one of my favorite books to Mommy.  If you give a mouse a cookie then he will want almond milk. She laughed but I don't know why.

After my 26 minute nap, Mommy tossed me in the car and we headed to Freehold for some horsie rides. Samantha and Daddy went to Bridget's for a play date.

Back home, we made a puppet show.

And then Mommy captured this gem on camera too.

Then, Samantha started making the case for big girl sleepovers.  Oh, boy!

My Birthday AGAIN!

Little Gym, how I've missed you.  Seven days is too long to be apart!

I think I can, I think I can.
Hooray.

While I was out and about, Samantha made a rockin' panda bear in drawing class.

Back home, I took a nap so I would be in a great mood for my birthday party.  When I woke up,  Mommy was making cookies and I was causing trouble in the food pantry. I busted out black beans, turned around and held them up and started to ask for beans.  That is until I saw them.
"Cookies!"
Mommy told them they were for my party.
"Cookies are my favorite"
Mommy wants to know how I know something is my favorite.  Really?

I had so much fun at my birthday party.  Want proof? Check this out!

We always wear these dresses at the same time or there are more tears than Mommy can handle.
Guess who loves to eat, I mean read board books!
But, I really, really, really, really want to eat chocolate!

Grasshopper

Mommy saw this picture on Facebook and suddenly realized why I ask for messy play everyday after dinner.

That's Daniel and me.  He brings me my coat.  He is awesome!
Just me and my favorite book.  No joke. I've said it before and I'll say it again.  This Dora cookbook is the best book ever!
Mommy handed Samantha a blue cup and want to know what Samantha said?
"I cannot drink milk out of a boys cup. I only drink out of girl colored cups."
I have so much to learn.

Rapunzel, let down your hair!
Wait, I'm a princess too!
Wow, Rapunzel and Merida all in one dress up outfit.

That is some wig!

Mommy was still on her picture kick and asked to smile for the camera so she could sent it to Aunt Travis.

What's wrong with this picture? Nothing, I say!
I only wear sunglasses upside down.  Why?  Drives Mommy nutso!

I also might have a slight obsession with my backpacks and tutus.

Grandma Carol called me!

The Arizona Girls

See where Daddy went running this morning?

See what Chrissy did in New Jersey to get in a lot of trouble?  Mommy asked what she was doing and she said, "putting stickers on the window to make it pretty for Roger."  No joke, she really said that.
Sometimes, when I'm super cute I get my picture taken at the special picture wall.  Today is one of those days, don'tcha think?
Look what I drew in school today.  Mommy, Christina and me in Arizona.  That's why Daddy wasn't there.
Guess what Mommy did today?  Registered me for Kindergarten.  Hot dog, it's really happening!

Don't you think that Ariel and I could be twins?
Yeah, it totally is the smile, isn't it?

Homework, It's Fun!

I asked Mommy something.  Guess what?  She didn't know the answer!!!

"Mom, you're almost 100. You should know everything.
"Samantha, I don't think I will ever know everything."
"You're so big. Come on!"

If you know why she laughed, please let me know.  I didn't tell a joke or anything.

After dinner it was time for homework.  Chrissy gets really upset if she doesn't get homework.

She decided to color paper for her homework.

But she was cheating by looking at my paper. Where is the honor code?
That's more like it!
Remember that Chrissy is a troublemaker?  This video sums her up nicely..

All the while, I just do my homework like a good girl!

Check this out!
My favorite part? The coloring!
Puzzles and I bid you good night!

Little Gym And Feast Making

Some kids like stuffed animals. Some kids like security blankets.  Me?  Gotta stick with the hygienic approach to life.  Give me a Wet One or baby wipe any day of the week.  Hands down my favorite security item of choice.  Don't judge me.  I'll bet you've peed on the floor once or twice in your life too!

School is closed today and Daddy had to fly far away so Mommy took me to The Little Gym while Samantha sat in the boring lobby. The jumper is fun!

If only I could really jump.

Told you it was the room of boredom.
Back home we busted out the play doh.  I made a mess.  Samantha did too.  We own it.
Nothing like making a feast!

I mighta sorta made a mess.  I sorta mighta told Mommy this.

"I making a mess"
Mommy asked why.
"With water!"

Enough said...
