The Makings Of A Super Model

I hear when walking the runway that head control is super important. I think I'll practice right now.

And then I'll rest a bit.
Must keep head up.
Hmm, do I get full credit if my eyes are looking up while my chin rests ever so gently on my best friend, Mr. Bumbo?
What?  No partial credit?
How's this Mommy?
Score!
This isn't so bad.
I might even crack a small smile, but don't tell Mommy I'm kinda enjoying this or she'll latch on like a leech.
The mother shot!
Times two!
Times three!
Times four!

Samantha is practicing her numbers and so am I!

WaHoo!

Mommy's friend, Miss Tiffany came to visit us all the way from Wahoo Hawaii. At least, that's what I thought she said, but every time I say it Mommy just laughs at me.

Mommy was sure feeding Chrissy a lot, but that's okay.  Miss Tiffany is a great friend to me, too!  She even rode my horse and bit the big one. I busted out laughing and asked her to do it again.  She laughed at me.  Do you know why?  I sure don't.

Before we headed out for a fabulous breakfast, Mommy snapped tons of pictures of Chrissy with Miss Tiffany.

Great smile, Miss Tiffany.

Still holding the smile patiently, waiting for Chrissy to get in touch with her inner smile.
I'll take it!
She was so tuckered out from smiling, that she begged Miss Tiffany for a rest.
A long rest.
Wake up, Chrissy!  It's time for pancakes.  I found butter lickety-split and it jumped onto my thumb.  Gotta keep clean, I always say.

I'm pretty sure this is the cutest my hair has ever looked under Mommy's watchful, yet misguided eye.

Yikes, better switch to milk before I get a talking to.

Then we all headed to my school.  Miss Tiffany and Chrissy stayed in the car while Mommy and I went inside.  When we got there Villads took my coat off for me and then hung it up on my hook.  Then he went right up in Mommy's grill and demanded to know where the baby was.  He is super sweet to be so caring.  I think I love him.

I hear that Mommy and co headed back to the homestead for some more snuggles.  Can't tell who enjoyed it more, can you?

Then they headed out for Panera.  Can you believe WaHoo doesn't have a single Panera?  How do they get their bagel fix?  Here Chrissy is doing what she does best these days. Sleeping in her car seat while out to lunch.  Oh, and there is one funny story.  Mommy fed the meter right next to a cop. She tapped on the window and told him she just broke the law but needed to nurse Chrissy.  He told her to go away.  When she came back out of Panera with Chrissy and waved to the cop, he smirked and went on his merry way.  Miss Tiffany sure thought that was funny and so do I!

When Mommy picked me up, she saw Villads' Mommy who told her that Villads and I are like a married couple- we're totally in sync some days and others we totally ignore each other and others we bicker with the best of them.

I had such a great time with Miss Tiffany, that I sure hope I can spend the summers at Camp Powers in Hawaii with her- Please!

Hooray For Summer

When Mommy picked me up from school today I was in the middle of my 'I went pee pee on the potty' dance.  Yes, I was totally naked and my friends were totally entertained by my enthusiasm.

We also have a new family rule, we all have to sit on the waterproof white sheets on the new couch unless we're wearing a diaper.  What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Originally the rule was just for me, but I bet parents have accidents, too.  So family rule, here we come!

Daddy surprised us by coming home early so Mommy could nap.  We made so much noise, he went bonkers and Mommy didn't sleep.  Oops!

I am super stoked that it's Friday already and that Emily came to my house.  It's still iffy outside weather-wise so hanging out inside is super awesome.

We snuck upstair for some bestie time.  I brought out the big guns.  Curious George!

Emily found Dora and we both got our reading on.

We're getting good at reading the words.
And taking breaks to smile for the camera.  Emily's smile is currently getting trademarked.
We are the bestest of friends and I'm super lucky!
Dora did what???
George got into mischief again???

Will we ever smile for the same picture?

Yes, but we won't look at the camera!

Bed time!

Just us and our million or so animals.

I can't wait for sleepovers!
And pillow fights!
Samantha, 1.  Emily, 0. For now, anyways!
Quiet, Mommies.  We girls are a sleepin'.
Tricked you!
Are those sheep real?
We interrupt this post for a potty break and to inspect the vast amounts of Dora on my underwear.

Will I ever get this underwear up over my junk.
Seriously.

Thanks, Mommy!
Speaking of.  Guess who cuddled with Chrissy all night?

She finally got her cuddle bug.
And they both are super thrilled.

Me?  Cuddling is for the birds.  I'd rather play princess on a Friday night.

Emily is a princess who tends to her herb garden.

Me?  I bring my purse to the mall and go shopping.
Don't all water bottles go in oatmeal canisters?

Emily wielding a shovel.

While I'm totally unphased.
Then it was another potty break. Mommies were still busy so Daddy had potty duty.

And reading duty.

It was an interactive book.

Then Daddy's tushie fell asleep so Emily's Mommy took second shift.
We had a blast!

And Emily was super nice to her Mommy with tons and tons of hugs.

Emily is going to make a great big sister later this summer.
