In My Element!

You kinda have to feel bad for Chrissy being the second child and all. If you peruse through the blog when I was this age, you'd see that I had tons of play dates and played with tons of toys.  Chrissy's toys?  A wooden spoon that Mommy grabbed out of the nearest drawer when Chrissy fussed that she was toy less and bored.

I know what she's thinking right now but I pinkie swore not to tell you.

Taste test.  Wooden spoon or fingers?  No contest!
Fingers every time!

Ah, Chrissy felt much better about her playtime when I came over to play with her.

Sisters!
After our playtime, Daddy took me upstairs for a divine bath with, count 'em, FOUR  bath fizzies.  Double score!  Wonder why Daddy took the morning off work to spend extra time with me?

A petting zoo in Mayberry?  I'm in heaven.  Here goat, here!
You're tushie needs some lovin' and I'm hear for you!
Mooo!
Race ya!
Come closer, please.

Really, I'm only in the 50th percentile for height and you're clearly off the charts!
Soft bunny!  You're kinda ugly.  Maybe Grandma will feel sorry for you and take you to live with her.  Like a Sniffers, Jr.

Someone sorta missed out on all the fun and protested that animals aren't quite as much fun when you're sequestered in a stroller.

After tons of furry fun it was off to school, my second day in pre-school to be exact. And since I'm all sophisticated in my advanced education, exactness is super, super important.  Well, except when you're counting to 20.  14 is totally overrated, if you ask me and I'm pretty sure you just did!

Mommy was having a day.  She dropped us off at school in Daddy's car and picked us up in Mommy's car.  What wasn't in Mommy's car?  Chrissy's car seat.  We had to sit in the parking lot while Daddy drove around the entire county to get from his errands to home and to school.  We were totally late to our play date with Katie and Mommy was totally embarrassed.

All was right with the world when Katie and I started racing cars down the slide.  I know it's not supposed to matter, but I totally rocked the car races!
Then we played on swings, where  I practically perfected the fine art of pumping. Mommy pushed us while Katie's brother tended to his diaper situation.  Stinky!

Katie likes how high mommy pushes her.  Me,too. I am super happy to have an awesome Mommy.
When we came home, Daddy ran around the house and played ball with me. I had an absolute blast, but boy was Mommy mad when we woke Chrissy up- twice!

A Day Of Firsts

Samantha went to her new Pre-School class to meet Miss Danielle for the first time ever.  She was a little scared and asked for Mommy a bit but overall I think she will really like her new classroom.  Too bad Alex and Emma won't be moving up with her.  Who knew life at three could be so rough and full of changes?  Makes me glad I'm still and infant and totally taken care of!

Wanna hear something funny?  Mommy laughs when we're out and about and people stop us and look at me and comment on how good they are that I smiled at them- if only they knew. I'm a smilin' fool!

Mommy hasn't taken enough pictures of me but she is making up for it with some bonus videos. Like this one of of me eating. Enjoy!

Terhune, I Give You All My Dimes For Some Lovin'

I don't know how you like to spend your weekends, but we love to visit animals.  Today was no exception.  Off to Terhune!

I needed to rest up a bit.

Samantha finagled all of Daddy's hard earned dimes and traded them in for corn feed to make the animals stop feeling hungry.
They felt much better after eating up!

Samantha and Mommy got lots and lots of kisses from this sheep.

Make that two sheep!
Horsies, Samantha's favorite!
More horsies over there. Look!

I can't wait until I'm big enough to pet horsies.

And ride tractors, just like Samantha
For now I'm best to snuggle in my stroller and dream about the days of chillin' with the animals of Terhune.

So many tractors!
Just like Goldilocks, this tractor is just right!

Beep, Beep.  Outta Samantha's way!
Back home, I cuddled with Mommy in the back yard while the hose entertained Samantha.  She wasn't pooping.  It just looks like it.  Promise!

Silly hat!

Naked Samantha!

Wowsers, was she surprised at how cold hose water is!

But she got over it!

Wondered why the post is from me and you don't see much of me?  Here I am!
And I'm super happy to have Daddy and me time. Score!

Sesame Street, You've Got It All Wrong

I'm learning my letters and Cookie Monster is about to lose his rights to the song.  C is for Chrissy, that's good enough for me!

One of my absolute favorite facial expressions.

And my other favorite- smile!

Hey, where'd I go?

Here I am!  Get this blankie off me!

Seriously, I'm not a toy!
Ah, much better!
It's not easy retaining your dignity when your big sister is in the room!
I'll take her peace offering any day of the week.  A Froot Loop bracelet.  Yummy!
Mommy then took Samantha food shopping at Wegmans and they ran into her school friend, Emma. Score!  Then it was home and nap time before we headed to the pool

I love the pool!

Pool means cuddle time with Mommy and my favorite toy.  Double score!

Naked Pizza

We headed to Emmy's house for Pizza Friday.  Mommy was dismayed to find out she forgot my bib and I was making a huge mess.  Yeppers, she stripped me down to my diaper and I dug into my pizza with gusto.

We had a blast, as always!  But on the car ride home Chrissy was a crying mess so I helped her feel better.  I'm such a good big sister!

Touch And Go

Thank goodness for Dr. Burt.  Turns out I was really, really sick and I didn't even know it!

The day started out great.

But quickly went downhill.  Samantha told me I had a boo boo on my hand and promptly slapped a band-aid on me.

Then she said with that kind of boo boo that I needed my heart checked out.

The good news? I still have a heart.
Samantha's assessment?  It relocated to my hand.  Is that a bad thing?

Uh-oh. She looks really serious.  Am I going to live?

After Samantha consulted with another expert in the medical field (Mommy), she declared it a medical mystery why the stethoscope gave a false reading and my body parts were all in the right place and working like they should.  Clean bill of health, check!
