Eh

Christina told Mommy that we drew in the driveway so Mommy said, "Oh, really?  Can you tell me about it?"
 Christina retorted, "I just did!"

And to make Mommy feel even worse, when she asked me about my amazing acting class, I replied, "I don't remember what we did."

Sometimes I feel bad for Mommy.  She's no match for us Burt Girls!

Happy Birthday, Sophia!

So, it's kinda rough being a little sister.  I followed Samantha into another room and she got all prickly and told me to get out of her grill.  Yikes!

Then I was kicked out of the family room because Mommy said she wanted to watch a grown-up movie.  I left and then thought about it.  Yeppers, you can bet I turned around and marched back into the family room and announced that I can watch this movie because I'm pretending to be a grown up.

I still got kicked out. Argh!

Daddy redirected us to the driveway and we made this art.

And then wrote our names. Well, not me exactly. I'm two!

And after a small nap we went to Sophia's birthday and had a blast. I found a fire truck and totally fell in love.I tried to take it home with me but was told that's stealing. Yikes!

And Samantha played with her friend Kesley from Harmony that lives next door to Connor. Small world!
Dylan, Kesley and I rocked cupcakes!

And I discovered drums.

Happy birthday, dear Sophia!

Sleepover, Sorta....

Someone is super stylish today and for once it isn't me!

She is such a cutie pie!
That cutie pie might have had a rough run in this morning.

"Daddy, can I please have some popcorn in a bowl for breakfast?"
"No."
"But I'm hungry and I asked for it... "
Insert much sobbing at the injustice.
Yikes!

We girls went on a girl power walk on the same day as the Cranbury House Tour.  We settled for sunflowers and the promise that we could do the house tour when we got older. Deal!

And then we had an almost sleepover.  Mira, Gabby, Lauren and Emily.  No babies allowed!

We had a blast and can't wait until we're old enough for a real sleepover!

Remember I told you no babies allowed?  Well, Christina had a dinner date with Robert and Rohan and asked them for a sleepover. Daddy freaked!

Class Note

Seriously, Christina can be super cute when she wants to be!

Me?  Mommy was busy with Christina and turned around to see that I wrote a note to my class.
It says, "Happy Friday. Love, Samantha"

I'm pretty sure Mommy cried a bit when she saw this but I don't know why.

After school, I might have knocked over Daddy's wine. But don't worry, I told Mommy that I picked up the glass.  Mommy still freaked.  Argh!

Mommy and Christina might have actually had the following conversation:
"Chrissy, did you just toot?"
"Twice. I'm such a dingbat."

Flu Be Gone!

Guess who knows how to rock it out in style??

I didn't just rock at home.  I rocked at school today and made the most biggest bubbles ever!

And then we both went for flu shots.  Fortunately, Samantha packed a picnic dinner for us.

And we enjoyed dinner on the lawn at Palmer's Square in Princeton. Then we enjoyed some yummy cupcakes at Bent Spoon.
Rocking our flu shot, latex-free band aids!

Samantha ended up in the time out chair.  Yeah, I know.  Right?
I asked her what happened and she said that she wasn't in time out. She just fell into the time out chair!

Wordless Wednesday?

Sometimes you just have to jump right in!

And, in this case that mean swim!

And never stop!

I love my swim lessons even when they are in the unheated pool.

Well, maybe not the unheated part.

Homework Happens Here!

Mommy decided it's high time for me to start homework  After much protesting, I decided it was better to rock it out than fuss. And rock it out I sure did!  All before 8 am!
Then we all went to Samantha's bus stop. Yes, it's our driveway and sounds way cooler than it actually is for anyone outside the Burt Circle.
Then I went to get my hearing checked. Darn those pesky ear infections. I broke the barber's chair but aced my hearing test so all is well in Burt world!

After school, Samantha paused for a quick smile.

And we rocked an amazing Happy Birthday song to Auntie Diana!

Table For Five At Teddy's!

It's going to be a good day, I just know it. I'm wearing clean undies and my clothes match EACH OTHER!

On the way to acting class Miss Jennifer asked if we could pick up Emily and Robert.  We jumped at the chance for a bonus night out and Robert got to sit in Christina's car seat. He loved it.   And so did Christina!

I loved sharing the backseat with Emily.  Besties!

And we earned ourselves grilled cheese sandwiches out of the deal. What an amazing day!

We were all so well behaved that we scared some of the grown ups who knew we weren't two sets of twins but couldn't figure out what we were all doing out at dinner on a school night with one adult.  Yeah, we pretty much rock.  Go all of us!

Jersey City Half Marathon!

So, Christina started the morning off all wrong by rolling off the bed. Seriously, my sister is a major klutzo.

But...I am so super duper proud of my Daddy.. He is getting ready to run a half marathon. On the same day.  Yes, you read that correctly!

We girls opted for checking out the local bakery.

Love you, Daddy!
He even takes time to give us a high five.  Super love you, Daddy!
After a whole hour and a half at Target we raced to the finish line to see Daddy finish the race. It sure is hard work to stay behind the line!
I see him, I see him!

It's Daddy!
And he sees us!
Can you believe he broke his own personal record? And, frankly, so did we. We waited a whole two hours without getting yelled at.  Take that, bad choices!

We dropped Daddy off at Newark airport and then went home and chilled out.  Yes, I just said that. I'm almost six, you know.

P-I-Z-Z-A

We started the morning on a bad note when I ran with a toothbrush in my mouth and fell.  But we turned things into a good note by making a video for Mira and Rohan. Wahoo!

And then I rocked out in a big way!

Then we hopped in the car and headed to Jersey City.  We checked into our hotel.  pushed some buttons on the phone and ordered data services and a police car. Yes. I. Did.

Argh!

Then we hopped on the train and went to New York City!  Pizza at Johns.  Oh, my!

Samantha was super excited for their pizza.

I couldn't decide between pizza and the pasta. So I had both!

Daddy agreed with my approach!

NYC without cupcakes?  Never!
Oh, the choices!

Riding the train back Mommy realized I'm a city girl at heart. I walked the entire time by myself and wasn't scared.  I know, right?
Think Samantha is too?

Passing time on the ride.

Smile!
Daddy wanted in on the fun too!

Time for bed, someone has a half marathon in the morning!

Go Get 'Em!

I am out and about. Even at school, I don't slow down.  Gotta put some gas in this car.

And drive, drive, drive!

How precious am I????

Glue?  Don't mind if I do!

I am a good listener for Miss Katelyn.
And a good cleaner upperer.

And a good interview subject for Mommy.

While watching the tv, Daddy asked Mommy if it was time for "I-c-e c-r-e-a-m". I answered for her, "pause the movie and then we can get ice cream".
Ha!

Mommy really, really, really wants Samantha to take another art class.  She asked her and Samantha said, "I like drawing and I like Miss Katie Truk's class but I don't want to take it anymore."
Mommy asked why.
Samantha said, "I don't know."
Mommy changed the subject.

I need to try that trick!

She Did It!!!

Guess who spelled her name on the way home from school and scored us bagels for dinner?????

Me?  I'm along for the tasty ride!
Back to school night!  Mommy didn't believe me when I told her that she was in a video until she saw herself in the video.  I told you I don't lie!

Mommy took lots of pictures of my work.
See?
I'm pretty good for a kindergartener!
Can you guess what this is?
I am going to be so surprised on my birthday!
Super dee duper surprised!
I made a castle!
And Mommy found Mr. Mouse!
Cat in the Hat!
More of my work.
Don't your tables have shoes on them?
My chair sack.
Daddy in MY chair!
My selfie.
