Trick or Treat!

I wrote myself a note, so I wouldn't forget.

And then I rushed off to school to get ready for the parade.

I wasn't nervous or anything.

And then I had my class party and then Mommy and Daddy picked me up to take me to Christina's school for her parade. And I jumped right in on the fun.

Christina wasn't scared at all.  It's a Halloween miracle!
Daddy turned into a cat!

And we posed with Mommy for a picture by the fountain.

We weren't as nice to Daddy in the picture taking department.

Christina perked up when she was in charge of the camera.
And she found her bestie.  Aley!
Hey, it's a mini reunion!

And then we rushed home so I could feed Phoebe.
And I found treats for myself!

And then I rushed to Main Street for some major trick or treating!

Armed with Daddy in tow, Christina wasn't scared at all.  Nothing like last year!

See what I mean?

Emily, Ronin and I are a terrific threesome!

And then we found Gracie.  Fantastic Foursome!

And time for our annual picture posing in front of Teddy's.  One year we are all going to look at the camera and smile all at the same time!

For now we just present an awesome challenge to the great photographer.

And then we had dinner at Teddy's.
Chrisitna fed Robert french fries and they both loved it!
And then we went home and Christina counted her loot.

Me too!

I sure cleaned up!

Pumpkin Painter

Mommy is so proud of my pretty pumpkin!

And Samantha found her perfect princess costume.  She is a princess, reindeer, butterfly.
Who then had swim lessons.
While I snuggled with Daddy.

Did I tell you the swim instructor was a special guest?

Totally freaked me out!

I'm In Love With Two Poor Girls

Few things are better than visits at school from Mommy!  I love that she does lunch duty and gives me extra snuggles! She sorta freaked though when I moved my lunch box to sit next to two boys.

When I got off the school bus I went to Phoebe's house and learned how to take care of her while her Mommy and Daddy are out of town.

And I asked Mommy if we could get a cat.

School doesn't take enough pictures of Christina.  Here is the lone picture of her painting her pumpkin.  Yeah, it's a lousy picture but we're glad to capture those special moments too.
Turns out getting up at 3am every day is catching up with Mommy.  She was super exhausted tonight and Daddy was still out of town. So, for the first time in history we had pizza and no vegetables.  And then we watched Two Poor Girls (Mommy calls it Two Broke Girls, but whatever).  Every time I saw a commercial, I would gently put my hand on Mommy's tired arm and tell her to let's keep watching because those girls are funny.

When the tv played music, Christina said, "Mommy, let's dance!"

Painting Paradise!

I love paint projects.  Even better when it's finger paint!

I take messes very seriously.
And then we carved a pumpkin.
And then when Mommy brought Samantha to the library, guess whom she ran into?  Her bestie!

Princess Castle

I am so super dee duper excited that we are going to see Emily and Robert at a party today.  Can you tell?
I'm also a big fan of big boxes.  Endless fun in our house!

Before the party, we needed to get something at Target and I convinced Mommy that we needed to go in our special uniforms.

Armed and dangerous in the card section.

Then I shared with Christina and we both got lots of looks from boring grown ups who forgot how awesome it is to be a kid. They wish they could run up and down the aisles, shouting "zoom, zoom!"
And then we were off to Emily and Robert's house.  Hooray!

Princess time all the way.
I might have discovered a love for football.

I made a dinosaur, inspired by reading four dinosaur books with Mommy.

And then I made a castle on a mountain with a kitty cat, hot air balloon and a princess.

Oh, and Phoebe's Mommy asked if I can watch Phoebe.  My first paying job.  How responsible!

Christina has been toting around The Berenstain Bears' New Baby book all week. If she thinks Mommy is  up for power of positive thinking- not going to happen.

Mommy is super dee duper tired.  Daddy went out of town this weekend.  Third weekend in six weeks.  Yikes!

Picture Perfect Day

Samantha doesn't pass up an opportunity to wear a dress. Ever.
I don't pass up an opportunity to wear bracelets.  Ever.
I might have gotten up way before 5am, so I conked out in the car on the way to Henry's for the art adventure at Grounds for Sculpture.
But when we got there, I woke up.  We hunkered down for the store.
Well, Samantha did.  I stood in style.
And then Samantha made a forest.  A blue forest.
And I plotted out my next move.
Samantha means business!
I prefer to channel my inner mess.
Go Samantha!

Inner mess channeled!

Go Samantha!
Then we had lunch.  There is a special where it's free to hear the story, do the art project, we go on a walk and then we can have a lunch that only costs $1.  I'm not sure what that means, but Mommy is really happy about that part!

Then, we went to Justice to use a coupon and Samantha was in heaven.
Total heaven.
Then we grabbed Daddy and went to the pumpkin patch and I insisted we go on the hay ride.

Samantha and Mommy agreed.

Family time!
Mommy found the same spot that she took a picture of Samantha and Daddy a few years back, when Samantha was still a baby and captured another special moment.
And then we made a special moment of our own.
Smile!
And then we carved the pumpkin.  Well, Samantha and Daddy did while Mommy and I snuggled with some good books. She read and I ripped pages.

Good work!

Behold the perfect pumpkin!
