Two Year Old In A Restaurant- Run!

To keep our family tradition going, we girls walked up and down every flight of stairs and all the hallways in the hotel we stayed at.  We have to get our steps in while Daddy is at the gym.

Then we headed to Ohio. While watching Petter Pan, I might have yelled "not nice alligator" at the screen a few times.
And finally Indiana!

Where Samantha learned how to play pool.

And I took pictures at dinner.
Mommy and Grandpa Frank had fun too.

Silly faces.
Yay!

Samantha wanted a turn.  She looks so super serious.
She wouldn't take a picture with Aunt Nancy and Alex...

So, Mommy taught her what a photo bomb is and how to do one.

She loved it and that is how we have our family photos tonight.
Silly Samantha!

Mommy didn't photo bomb, but she did join in the fun!

Mommy and Grandpa Frank found the photo booth on Alex's Mac and made silly faces.  Ha!

Samantha might have had a potty emergency and Mommy scolded by asking why she never has to go potty until Mommy does.  Samantha responded that that was the reason.  Huh?

Photo Rock

This special rock has quickly become our most special photo rock.
Morning

And afternoon!

Want to know what Chrissy did at school?  Art project that matches her dress.

Chrissy just loves LuLu.  Even when she flings LuLu down the stairs.. Why is Mommy taking a picture of her in the car?  Because we are on our way to Indiana!

I took the path of least resistance.
I sang all the songs I learned at school and Chrissy plugged her ears. How rude!

Have I told you I'm obsessed with tunnels? Cuz I am!

Last stop- Wheeling West Virginia. See ya tomorrow, Indy!

PS- when we got to the hotel room, I had to walk around to get my steps in. Being in the car for so long makes my legs wonky.

Tee Ball

Yes, it is almost the end of May.  Yes, I am wearing boots.  They match my pink dress and helmet.

Eh, maybe I won't hit the ball after all.
Chrissy really wants to play tee ball.  Mommy lets her run the bases but chases her off the field during the actual games.

Run!
See how fast her little legs can carry her.  She runs super funny.  Even her teachers at school think so!

Yes, I do believe I am the most fashionable tee ball player in Mayberry.

After popsicles and bathes we snuggled like bugs in a rug.

And I took a great picture of Mommy and Christina.  I am turning into quite the photographer.

Homework

It it really hard to draw dinosaurs.

For once Chrissy is coloring with markers and not eating them. How long do you think this will last?

Memorial Day Parade

Samantha starting the day off right!

Mommy took us on a morning walk and we were in great moods.
When we aren't fighting, we are super great friends.

I love to hold my big sister's hand!

Look, we found a race!
I sure hope Daddy dresses me when I'm older.  Check out all the choices Samantha got.

Mommy gave me one.  Sure it's my favorite dress, but that's not the point. I'm two and need options!
Samantha didn't even go with the options Daddy gave her. She wanted something more patriotic.

We watched the parade with Emily and Robert.  I love living in the same town!

Samantha got a little scared with the rifles shooting and making a lot of noise.
Thank goodness her bestie helped her feel better.

Daddy makes me feel better every day!

And when I can't see, he picks me up.  He is the best!

After the parade we convinced our parents we needed ice cream.

And lots of time to play.  I can keep up with the big kids pretty well.

See, that's me playing chase with them.

Samantha is a good big sister and holds my hand to make sure I am not left behind.

Back home we headed out to the garden and I found my log cabin.  The only think missing is the woods. Wait, I live in the country.  That will work.
Samantha helped Mommy plant collard greens.
She did a great job.
I preferred getting things wet.

See what I planted?

Then I helped supervise.

Check out the video.

Samantha got Daddy with a hose.

While I rested on my potty. Outside. Naked. Outside. Remember, we live in the country!

Daddy got all wet!
