Getaway!

A post without kids???  What has the world come to? Here is one happy Daddy.

And one relaxed Mommy!
Wow, so that is what they look like when they are both showered and dressed nicely at the same time!

Asheville, NC sure looks nice!

Picnic Party

We are super lucky that Grandma came for a visit! The best part so far?  Pizza party at school and Grandma gets to come, too!

Grandma looks great while we are suffering the effects of a super sunny sun.

I love you, Miss Kim!
Want some boogie kisses?  A Chrissy special!
No bite!
Kisses for you!

Boogie transfer- success!

I'm a stinky winky!

With an eye for mischief!
This is about where Samantha had a meltdown because Mommy cut off her donut supply. We had to go home super early so Samantha could calm down. Next year pizza party!

Mayberry Parade

Who needs candy when you have a veggie bowl.

Every year, our town has a parade with old car and candy.
And, in my case, veggie bowls.
Lots of veggie bowls!

Have carrot, will cheer parade goers!
Daddy loves me!
Very much!

Samantha loves candy very much!
And waving to those in the parade.

I like fire trucks.

Samantha got to pet the horsie.

Princeton Plainsboro ED

Turns out that I should not put everything in my mouth.  I should have been happy with our tour of Princeton Hospital.  But, nope.  I am one of those kiddos and after three days of a 103.8 fever that went up to 104.5, Mommy took me to the hospital last night and we checked out their private rooms.  We also got a one way ticket to the pediatrician again this morning.  Official diagnosis? Hand, foot, mouth disease.  Gross!

Tom's Ice Cream Bowl

We got ready to go back home this morning.  I helped Chrissy brush her hair.

And we drove through Ohio.  Hi, Ohio!

And stopped in Zanesville for ice cream. It was super yummy!

Indy Children's Museum

Look, Samantha's shoes almost fit me!

After a bunch of running up and down the halls and trying to learn how to go bump bump down stairs on my tushie, Aunt Nancy took us to the children's museum.  Daddy and I rested for a bit.
While Samantha rode the wagon.
Aunt Nancy showed me dinosaurs.  My first ever- thanks!
I was too young, but Samantha went digging for bones.
She was really good at it, too.

Aunt Nancy is super special to Samantha, and me, too!

Walking by the doll house.
Samantha made sure I didn't fall.
Then she ditched me on the carousel.
I didn't like it.

Samantha ignored my plead for help.

I want off!

Samantha busted through a space exhibit.

Right to tea with Mr. Bear.

Yes, I can hear you, Samantha!

Samantha shared her tea with a boy.

And then brought snacks to Aunt Nancy.
I held on tight to Daddy.

Think I get my height genes from Daddy?

Ice cream?  Yes, please!

Extra scoop, please!

I'd like tea with my ice cream.

Daddy was in ice cream withdrawal and made up for it today!

You want to go home now?

Careful or the dinosaur will eat you!

Samantha loves Aunt Nancy, Alex and Tuffy!

Can you guess where Samantha ran to?
