Do you think we might be obsessed with our picture rock?  Go ahead, you can say yes!

Post Graduation Picture Rock

I'm so big now, I barely fit on the picture rock!

Or, I'm just playing around with Chrissy...

Chrissy is asking if that's Daddy up in the airplane.

Isn't she a cutie pie?

Now that the dust has settled, it's card opening time!

I am really excited for these Hello Kitty stickers, but this is my new mature, aloof look.

We are pretending we are at the beach in California. Lying on the beach, soaking up the sun with our sunscreen on, of course!
Flip flops? Why, yes!

Daddy brought us towels for the beach.  Love you, Daddy!

Graduation!

Holy moly.  It's here.  It's really, really here.  My preschool graduation day and I couldn't be any more excited. Neither can Chrissy. To the picture wall!
I am so excited that Daddy is flying home from a trip just to see my graduation. I made him a video as a preview of tonight's celebration.

Since we had to be picked up early today, we had a great idea.  Dinner with our besties at Ruby Tuesdays!!! Mira, Lauren and I discovered something amazing.  The girls bathroom.  And our Moms let us go by ourselves.  We were so super excited at this new found freedom that we went potty by ourselves about a hundred million times in the 45 minute dinner.  This place is the most amazing restaurant ever. They have food for kids and food for grown ups!

What a great way to celebrate this special day! (with no littles, this dinner is even more special!)

Chrissy couldn't be any happier for me.  Hooray!
Daddy made it!

Villads and me!

It's official!

Mommy is digging the side braids but not the off the shoulder look.

Here we are in all our glory!

Sing away!
Keep going.
And going.
And going.
And going.
And going.
More?

Getting ready to get my diploma. This is it.  The moment every four year old dreams of.

And it's all mine!

Don't I look older? More mature?  Ready to conquer the world?  YES!!!
Wow.  We've come so far.  Miss Kim and I started Harmony together on the same day and four years later I give her a snuggle and say 'See Ya Later, Alligator!'
We love you, Miss Kim!

Emily and me!
Lauren and me!
The amazing friends of Harmony.  Gabby, Emily, Mira, Lauren, me and Kesley.
Cheers!
Now THIS is what a graduate looks like!

Now, to bring us back to Burt reality... Chrissy wearing Daddy's shoes with her undies around her ankles.
And my nightgown all twisted up in the game.
Cheese!
Just where I want to be.  Just Mommy and me.

Good night, good friends.

Teddy Bear Picnic And Celebrating Friendships

What a great idea to have a teddy bear picnic.  I chose the panda that Grandma Carol got us from the DC Zoo because it has a pink bow in her hair.
Hi there, polar bears!
I'm digging this look.  How 'bout you?

Guess what?  The whales had their own picnic.
Remember the surprise from the other day?

Mommy had a brilliant idea.  She took a picture of Emily and Samantha from the first week of preschool and then took a picture on the last week of preschool in the same spot and turned them into one picture and got it framed for the two girls as a graduation present.  Love, love!

Woosh

I am so lucky to have a fashion forward big sister like Samantha!  Take a biscuit breakfast (which in this house is super amazing to find white flour products with butter!!!) for instance.  She knows how to make it even more special with headbands, necklaces and bracelets.

Here's my twist, the biceplet!

Hair salon!
I mighta sorta got crazy with the stickers and decorated Mufasa's picture frame.  This took Mommy a minute to figure out what happened and I laughed a lot.
She used a parent trick called "redirect" and asked me to decorate paper instead.  Pretty, uh huh?
Then Samantha needed a diaper change.
Wait, she's too big!

Daddy asked Samantha to help make a green shake.  What a noisy machine that makes magic happen.  Take veggies and turn them into a drink. Dun dun dunnn..

Mommy couldn't figure out why I was so quiet until she found me in the room above the garage where we store stuff and discovered I had locked myself into a baby car seat.  I watched her silently retreat and then discuss with Daddy if they were legally allowed to leave me locked up for an hour of parent peace. After much debate, Mommy sighed and unlocked me.

After dinner, we asked Emily to meet us for an emergency dessert run. We didn't tell her, but it wasn't about the ice cream so much as getting a picture with Samantha and Emily in that exact spot on this very day.  Why, you ask?  It's a surprise!
Of course I wanted my picture taken with Robert.

I've discovered a trick on my own.  I ask for ice cream in a cup and eat as much as I can.  Then, when it melts,  I drink it!!!

Ice cream mustache!

Only two and already dating!

I think I'm ready...

If the big girls can do it....

So can I!

Rock on, chickadees!

Samantha had a little trouble pumping and said, "maybe it will be easier when we're six."
