MLK Day- Samantha Style

Mommy offered to pay daycare double to take us today.  They politely declined the offer, so it was off to the races for us. 

By races, I mean we raced to drive Mommy nutso.  I stayed super active and not so politely declined the offer of nap time. I watched tons of Super Why and picked up my new favorite phrase that peppered my conversation all day.  Wanna know what it was??? Double drats! 

We girls took a bath and Chrissy levitated to swipe toys from inside the tub.  I thought Mommy's eyes were going to pop out of her head when she saw Chrissy's tiny toes lift off the bathmat in search of toys!

My finally got Chrissy to sleep and came down to read me stories and flipped out when she couldn't find me.  She looked high and low without any luck.

Would you have done better yourself?  Try now.  Where am I?

Give up?  Here I am!

Yeah, Mommy was totally freaked out until she found me safe and sound.

Science Sunday

Mommy is still in her kick of getting us to love science more than she ever could.  So, behold our Science Sunday Project.

Flag On The Play

Have you ever tried to play an organized game with Chrissy?  Well, I have one word for you. Messy!

First off, she likes to sit ON the game and not next to it.

Second, she doesn't respond well to gentle feedback.

Third, she literally eats the players. What are we going to do with her!

Hmm, I know.  At least we can give her real food to eat.

Phew, distraction success. Now I can open some presents.

Chrissy was jealous of my project but not allowed to play with play-doh.  Something about eating everything she touches!

Look Who's Walking, Senior Citizen Style?

Yessers, I am learning how to walk. It's not as easy as it looks.

The steps involved?  Many. Want to learn them?

First, ask Mommy to help you up.

Then, stick your tushie out to counterbalance your belly.

When you're steady enough, try to pull yourself upright.

Family Traditions

Daddy started putting things on Samantha's head when she was a baby and I guess it became a family tradition of sorts.

Now Samantha puts things on my head.

Especially pink teddy bears!

Yeah, so you know about my swim lessons, right?  I had to wear a swim cap for the first time. Turns out I have kept a secret from you.

I'm allergic to latex.  In a big way.  Look at my forehead.
