Back home Mommy is always using that word. Not sure which word I'm talking about? It's that very tiny, but packs a punch word. N-O. No, no, no. Yeppers, nothing more dreaded than hearing that word when I'm in the middle of trying to have fun.
But on vacation, Aunt Nancy and Uncle Scott have done everything possible to make sure I can cause a ruckus without getting in trouble. Next up? Aunt Baby's cake! Aunt Nancy set me up somethin' sweet with a cake that I can make all by myself. And I'm super happy about it. Can you tell?
First up, settle in a chair and hunker down for a messy adventure. You need lots of whipped cream and tons of cookies.
Glop whipped cream on the cookie and delicately place it on the serving tray and repeat a few dozen times.
This is about the time that all adults in the room scramble for a camera.
This is a masterpiece in action.
This cookie needs more whipped cream.
And these hands need a good clean up.
Even more whipped cream?
Of course the baker needs to taste test along the way to make sure none of the ingredients have spoiled.
Next up? A visit to the Sanctuary and the artist's home. Aunt Nancy is good friends with a local artist so we went to her gallery and then visited on her 50 acre organic farm, complete with this adorable piggy. He is super friendly.
But needed the proper introduction.
Hi Piggie, here is my belly. Nice to meet you!
Inside is one of the biggest doggies I have ever played with. Uncle Scott is the bestest body guard ever. Thanks, Uncle Scott!
In case you're wondering what Uncle Scott just told me... "Run!"
The doggie was particularly interested in sleeping Chrissy.
I think she might have looked like a perfect mid-day snack.
It was a bit of a standoff between big sister and doggie, if you must know.
Other treats on the farm? Llamas! This one is so super well behaved that she hangs out in the big yard by the house and doesn't need to be fenced in.
The one closest to us? The most friendly llama ever.
And I do mean
ever!!!!
The other llamas have a sort of llama clique that we are not a part of.
So we focused our attention on the super friendly llama.
The others actually pushed us away. No joke.
Here they are scooting away from us.
The friendly llama tried to eat Mommy's shoes. I can't blame the llama since she is blind and can't tell grass from shoes. Though, have you ever smelled my Mommy's shoes? Yuck-o!
We tried to pet the other llamas, with no luck.
Off to the creamery for some good ol' fashioned cow milking. I'm all about the cows.
And Mommy's keys. But it's our secret, right Aunt Nancy?
Yummy!
Cows waiting to be milked.
Baby cows.
Hi there, Mr. Friendly!
Only Mommy and I were ready to jump in the mix of things.
Samantha soon got brave enough to come up close with the cows.
I was a bit less interested in the camera with a super big cow so close by.
Ice cream and napkin eating time!
I totally adore cousin Alex. He has been so great spending time with me. Love you!
Samantha, Great Grandma Pat and Trina hanging out.
Snuggle fest!
Total adoration!
Happy birthday, Great Grandma Pat!
