See Ya Later FIVES!

Watch me.

This is going to happen.
Oh, my goodness. I'm getting so good at jumping in the deep end of the pool. I think it's because I hang out with boys and they aren't scared of anything.  Evan's pool is so much fun!

Mommy caught it on video!

Christina loves her water wings and the steps in the pool.
Here I go again.  Cannon ball!
Christina cheers me on!
Now this is summer!
Demi, Leah and Christina are great friends.  They like to hang out and talk about how great summer is.
And, of course, we made our daily stop to feed and play with the cats.
And brave Christina held one.
Me too!
Woah, and like a flash of lightening my time as a five year old is coming to an end.  I started kindergarten and met so many new friends. Countless play dates. Finding my voice, learning to read and becoming a writer. Spending a great summer at camp and holding my own in a derby car class when I was the only girl.  Getting my first boyfriend and first love notes.  Hard to believe all these great things can happen to a five year old.
Last day of being five!
Headshot. Mommy is obsessed with taking pictures on our last day of being an age.

Christina didn't want to miss out on the fun.
She will still be three tomorrow but she is so tickled to have her picture taken.

She wasn't so tickled to be kicked out of my room. But, seriously, I'm going to be six tomorrow and she needs to know there are rules about going in my room!

Super Chef Samantha

Don't worry, little kitties, we're back again to feed you and play with you!

Momma and her babies playing games.
Christina is a bit scared of the Theodora so she plays with the babies from higher ground.
Safe and smiley!
Back home, I asked to make dinner.  Yep, I can do it.  I learned this great recipe from Ms. Kahaly's fitness and nutrition camp.  It's a cucumber and cream cheese sandwich.
I'm a super cute chef rocking my awesome gym clothes from Aunt Holley and Uncle Skunk.
Everyone LOVED my dish!

Cat Whisperer And Her Drama Free Little Sister

Oh, my goodness.  Mommy and Daddy have a floor in their bathroom.  I'm just a little confused as to why the counters are on top of the bath tub. Mommy is a little bit weird, but this seems just wacky!

Martial arts baby!
How cool is it that Samantha's friend Lauren is back at Harmony and is now my friend!
Did I tell you that we are pet sitting Theodora and her cute babies?  We LOVE to pet sit.
Especially for baby kitties as cute as this!
Samantha has a special touch with animals.
See how they just come to her.
Now, everyone knows that I'm not into drama at all.  Those stomping feet and cries that "you are NOT my friend" only happen when I'm possessed by the two year old that still lives deep in my belly and demands attention.  But, this story is not about me.  I have something serious to tell you.

LG stabbed Samantha at school today.  Samantha cried and got a boring band-aid.  When you are allergic to latex you are stuck with stinky looking band aids.  Samantha knows it was an accident, but she sure dragged the drama out all afternoon.  And then Mommy broke the cork on her port bottle and it got stuck in the bottle. I'm pretty sure Mommy almost cried.  There sure are a lot of tears today and for once it's not me!

Swim Mania!

I practiced my animals and think they are turning out really well.  Can you tell what I made?

And then I practiced jumping off the side of the pool.  It has taken me a long time, but I'm getting more and more comfortable and almost ready for swim lessons again to become the best swimmer I can be.

No need for a sleeping class.
I am the best sleeper ever.

After a twenty minute cat nap, it was off to party number TWO of the day!

I just need to convince Mommy to get us one of these. Thank goodness Aaron's parents said we can come over anytime it's set up.

Are you noticing a theme whenever Christina finds a table full of junk food within her reach?
Where does she put it all?
We are so lucky to have so many great friends and get to enjoy the long weekend with them.  Then it was off to the fireworks and Gil and Bert ice cream truck.  Small town living at its finest!

Goldie Blox Girls Rock Porchfest!

We love Goldie Blox.  We can build things all by ourselves and we're allowed to play with water in our living room.  That wouldn't happen any other time.  Too messy, Mommy always says.

This is our dunk tank.  And Nacho the dog ends up soaking wet every time. This is great!

How cool is this- Porchfest on the 4th of July.  I'm in treats heaven.
No, seriously. I am!
No more treats?  Mommy, you've GOT to be joking.
Phew- you are!
Samantha also loves Porchfest.
We saw so many friends.  Must be the long weekend, warm weather and monster table of junk food that has all the kids in Cranbury jumping for joy!

The Ugly Duckling And World Weight Lifting Champion

After a whole week rehearsing and making the set and costumes, we warmly welcomed our parents to the very special performance of The Ugly Ducking.

That's me in the chair.

Still in the chair.
Jumping for joy.
Quack, quack.

Curtain call!
Here is the video of our production.

Ms. D did a great job helping us.
We went to pick Christina up and found her lifting weights.  When did she get so strong?  Must be the red dress!

Traffic Jam!

Phew, after a long day at camp I needed a relaxing ride on the swing.  There is a really cool family in town that lets us play on the swings in their front yard.  It's so much fun!

And look at my derby car. I made it myself and it's safe enough for you to ride in.   Almost......

I came in SECOND PLACE in our class competition.  My Mommy prefers to spin it as FIRST PLACE in the girls' division of one.

Living Life On The Edge

Boy, Uncle Skunk sure got me in a world of trouble. Who knew three year olds aren't supposed to use F words.  Or S words. Mommy is always asking me to use my words, but when I do she gets mad.

Thank goodness Daddy snuggles with me and doesn't get mad when I drop bombs.  He turns his head to the side and smiles as he tells me not to say that word again.
