Red, Green And Silly Day

Yes, I know the school calendar said red and green day today.  Only Mommy would pull this outfit together for me to be out in public. Sure Samantha looks normal, cute even.

Me?  I'm wearing summer shorts under white sweat pants.  No matter how you slice it, this look was NEVER fashionable.

And the proverbial 'icing on the cake'?  Check out my pony tail up close and personal.  At least I'm wearing the awesome shirt that Uncle T and Aunt H gave me.
Did school notice my crazy outfit?  Nope.  Turns out they are completely used to Mommy's senseless style and didn't think twice about my wardrobe selection.  What does this say about the future of fashion in this house?  Please send complete outfits to my house in unmarked brown bags addressed to the Burt Girls, please. Thanks!

While Mommy made dinner, I flew my airplane around the house, yelling "daddy".
Airplane, airplane!!!

Super Chrissy!

How do you turn a fiesty tod into a super tod?

Find a cape.

Try to figure out how to wear it.
Then just ask Mommy to put it on you with a bunch of fussing. Run around lots and lots. Then pull cape off and drop it right where you are. Leave mess on ground and move onto other things.

Rough Waters

I am not feeling well.  I have a stomach bug and Chrissy slept for ten minutes total over two naps.  It's been a rough day.

I might sorta actually fell asleep on the potty and Daddy didn't know what to do.  So, he grabbed his camera.  He's been spending way too much time with Mommy!

Besties' Bowling Brigade

What a busy  bee day ahead.  First up?  Decorating our tree.  I get to put the first ornament on, thanks!

Christina is still trying to figure out what is going on.
So, Daddy jumped in and decorated the tree just a little bit.
After the tree was nice and pretty, Mommy and I went to Connor's party.  We went to his house and had snacks and then.... We went bowling!

It was a great chance for me to revisit and reject all sports skills.  At least my friend skills are in super shape.  Love you, Emily!

This is how we cheered each other on. It didn't matter if we knocked down the pins, so long as we encouraged each other.  Besties!

We had an awesome time and helped the check in people get their steps in. Turns out balls don't always make it down the lanes.  For our party, they didn't make it down twelve times.  Did you know that twelve is a bigger number than ten?  Yeah, we aren't very good bowlers, but we sure dance up a storm!

Back home, Chrissy tinkled on the potty.  Serving up pizza!

And ice cream.  Yummy!

True story- yesterday, when Mommy told me again that I could have pizza and ice cream if I go pee pee on the potty I might sorta took a wet diaper and threw it in the potty and shrieked "pizza and ice cream". Mommy and I revisited the rules and I legit went pee pee on the potty today.  Hooray!

Firehouse Fun

Tonight is going to be super fun.  This here princess is headed to the firehouse for fun and games and then a singalong.

I'm ready!

But, first, I want to show you what I drew at school today.  Legs and feet?  I told you already.  They are under the dress!

At the firehouse, there was hot chocolate. Yummy!

And fruit loop necklaces.

Chrissy?  Wouldn't leave home without her broccoli. Told you she really likes her veggies!

Cheese face!

Cookie decorating time!

And, even better, cookie eating time!

Tattoos!

Chrissy, too!

And I made a letter for Santa so he knows what I want for Christmas.
Then we snuck away from the crowds and played on the logs.  What a perfect night!

We sang great songs. I totally know Rudolph.  Want me to teach you?

Mr Brown Can Moo, Can You???

Yeppers, that's me in the midst of potty training.  Mommy has promised me pizza and ice cream when I go pee pee. Ever since I went pee pee and poopies on the potty, Samantha realized that getting me to go pee pee means pizza and ice cream for her too.

So, she reads to me.

What sound does a rhino make?
We're not sure either.

After an unsuccessful attempt, we batted 1000 in the box race.  We won!

Shopping!

Samantha taught me all her shopping tricks and I am turning into quite the saavy shopper!

Sugar Overload!

Today is a super busy day.  First up?  Pancake breakfast. We were the first to arrive and loaded up on smiles and pancakes.

Cheese!

Then we dashed over to Santa and Mommy asked Christina to hop up on his lap with me.  She said no.  Mommy asked why and Christina told her "cuz".  Oh, boy!

I sure had a great time.  I'm not scared of Santa at all!

After naps we busted out our gingerbread houses, year three and second house of 2012.  I'm on a roll.

Chrissy just wanted to eat the candy!

Chrissy loves sippy cup fun.

Right about here is where she spits water out and gets a huge reaction out of Mommy. Sucker!

Wow, this is shaping up to be a really pretty house!

Even Sophia is making a house. Way cool!

No fair. Both of Jack's parents went to art school. Of course his looks amazing!

And this won the prize for the most decorated!

Frosting fight!
Ack!

Bam!
Splat!

Busted!

We love having parties and want to have them every day.  Mommy says we do, it's called 'school'!

Leaping Into The Terrible Twos RIGHT NOW

Mommy might be obsessed with me in jeans.  I hear from Samantha that she felt the same way about her.

Just in case you haven't met me yet, this pretty much sums up my attitude in life.  Note my hands in my pockets and the pout on my mouth!

Don't believe I am a real troublemaker?  Well, last week in California I opened up Mommy's purse and took her wallet out and stole $61 dollars and her ATM card. She found the cash but had to cancel her ATM card and order a new one.   Talk about a pissy Mommy!

At dinner time I literally shoved as much pasta into my mouth as I could. Three bowls later I was cut off.  Whole wheat pasta tonight makes for lots of stinky diapers tomorrow!

What's the fun of staying inside the lines?
