Just Another Dress Pajama

Do you wonder what we girls do when Daddy is out of town?  We miss him but try to have lots and lots of fun.  We also take lots of pictures.

 Did you know Mommy surprised me with dress pajamas?

 I snuck into my room and got dressed by myself.  You can tell Mommy didn't help because my socks match my dress pajamas.

 What does Chrissy do while Daddy is away?  The same thing she does when he is in town.  Makes a mess and causes a ruckus.

Spice Rack Exploring

Mommy got Samantha a special art project to do.  Samantha loved it.

 She is a silly smiler, isn't she?

 Me?  With no art project, I was left to my own devices.  Yeppers, that means exploring.  Spice cabinet, nice to meet you.

 Taco seasoning?  Sounds yummy.

 Yeah, I'm thinking you're right.

 Pepper, the calorie free spice.  Did you know our bodies can't digest pepper.

 Yeah, I'm totally filled with poop and random facts. Some people might call those two things one and the same!

Play Date With Mira

No babies here!  It was time for some serious fun, so Chrissy stayed home while Mira and I made cookies.

We were super good at taking turns.

We even played outside with Mira's Daddy.  Until I fell and cried.  He kindly brought me inside to see Mommy who looked at it and sent me right back outside.  Mommy is no softie unless I'm really hurt.  She always asks, are you more scared or hurt.  Most of the time I'm more scared and she hugs me and sends me on my way.

Goldilocks And The Three Bears!

Guess what?  I'm getting older.  I have my very first field trip ever.  Of course I'm not that big because Mommy is one of our chaperones.

 Daddy insisted that I match and my hair was brushed.  Yeppers, we know that means Daddy has to help get me ready!

 Chrissy kept herself entertained by drawing and eating the art supplies.

 Did you know I can put tights on all by myself?

And that Chrissy can devour a bagel all by herself?  We are super big!

 At school, Chrissy learned that balls don't belong in Bumbos.

 And smiling for the camera is the bestest way to get Mommy to scat.

 I'm ready!  I even wore my Samantha necklace.

On the bus, I looked up at Mommy and told her not to worry because I will be fine.  I think she teared up.

 Tow the line, but never cross it when Mommy is looking!

Media Obsessed

Yes, Chrissy is obsessed with Elmo And I Know It and, of course, Duck Song and Duck Song 2.  Daddy wasn't in the know so we hooked him up.

Yes, this is how I like to spend my days now that Mommy introduced me to You Tube and the most amazing video ever.  Elmo And I Know It!

I am a dancing fool and my mood gets and immediate uplift when I hear the familiar beats.  Dance, dance!

Shopping Cart Scootin'

Today we went to the store on a girls only field trip.  I rode in the car with Chrissy at Shop Rite.

We made the car horns go beep-beep to keep people from bumping into us.

Then we had munchkins to celebrate our girl's trip. Daddy doesn't know what he is missing!

On the way home I looked out the window.

"Mommy, why is it raining?"

"Because the grass needs to drink."

"Just like snow.  Mommy, one time I tasted snow."

"How did it taste?"
"Good."

We came home and I did some tracing and then I made princesses and used stencils to make horsies.

Uh-oh, I smell something!  I ran over to Chrissy to smell her tushie for stinkies.  She sure had a lot of stinkies.

Stinkies be gone so we can eat our munchkins!

After breakfast, I asked do some art.  Mommy even let Chrissy try.

They are my favorite.

Chrissy's favorite?  Getting into trouble.

And being proud of it.  I think grown-ups call that 'ownership' and want kids to have some but I think this isn't exactly what they were talking about because Mommy was really annoyed with Chrissy.

Yeah, I took her water.

But traded it for Cheerios.  She wasn't mad.

We hung up our new map so we played on the old map.   You can't tell, but we are having fun together.

Time to bust out Mommy's christmas present from me and make lemonade.
