Occawhat?

School was closed today, so off we went to NoVa in search of even more grandparent time. This is the best week ever!


We went to Burke Lake and rode a great train and then played on the playground.

Here is what happens when I take control of the camera.

 Chrissy was a little overwhelmed by all the activity.

But she warmed up once it was just our family.

Then, we headed to Occoquan and found a great little spot for something to eat. I entertained myself dancing with Grandma Carol's necklace to make me an even prettier princess.

Grandma reads the best Pokey Little Puppy.

Noone is prettier than I am after a b-a-t-h.  Noone, I tell you.  I mean, just look at me.  Totally ignore whatever Chrissy is doing in the background!

And beaters sure are yummy.

Chrissy was a bit bummed to be left out of the fun, but between you and me, she eats everything she isn't supposed to so she couldn't bake with us today.

She had a lot to say about that!

Grandma Joanie asked if I could draw Barney and I thought I could.....

I also took a moment to join the cupcake crusade.

And into princesses, of course!

Martial Arts And Dietary Needs...

I think someone in this here family is a bit jealous of all my fun with martial arts. Any takers on whom it might be??

I was super excited that Daddy, Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa were able to make it to my martial arts class!

It was so much fun that Chrissy wanted to join in the fun.
