New Lens

How things change.  We woke up this morning and it was a whole new world.  We let winter and busy schedules get the best of us and need to stop and think about what is important to our family and make sure that we stay connected now and forever.  So, we did what all families should do on beautiful mornings, we stopped and smelled the tulips.

They don't smell as pretty as they look, do they?

We thought this is the perfect place for a girl power picture.

And Gil and Bert's is the perfect resting spot with the pretty tulips that Mr. Vinny let us have.

Daddy had to leave on a business trip (on a Sunday, yuck!) and then we girls drove Ms Stacy to the airport so she could fly back to Florida.  The way home was filled with fussing. Chrissy told me that it was her birthday and only her birthday.  I cried. A lot.  How would you feel if your little sister told you that you'd never have another birthday ever again?  Mommy almost pulled her hair out and started singing the months of the year song and skipping the months that had my birthday, then Daddy's, then Mommy's then our friends.  The song got shorter and shorter and sillier and sillier until we realized that Chrissy was being silly and we could all keep our birthdays. Oh, my!
