Toddler Carpooling Rocks!

I totally can't get enough of Emmy. True, we have Friday night dinners, but that's not enough for us good friends. Today we settled on a great trip to the zoo. We met super early this morning and loaded up in Mommy's car. Notice the second car seat. Glad to see two car seats fit- I might be asking for an older brother soon. Anywhoo, Emmy is the first friend I've ever taken a car trip with before and I think it's going to be great!

True it's a bit rainy outside but that's never stopped us determined ladies from having fun. Here we are at the Princeton Junction traffic circle and we're just getting in our groove. Lots of singing, shrieking and laughing. This is awesome!

Both of us smile at the same time? Yeah, right.
We drove to Philly in the rain and decided to high tail it to the Please Touch Museum, except they weren't on board with the whole plan and lied on Emmy's pass. They said they opened at 10AM on Sundays, but they really meant 11AM. Thankfully, it stopped raining just about this time and we went back to Plan A and visited the zoo. We love lions. Roar!
Hmm, thank goodness for this glass. They are mighty big!
Big, but pretty!
We had a blast and ended up in the primate house for lunchtime. Our lunchtime, of course. We just love monkeys and gorillas. One gorilla got really feisty and slammed on the glass partition, freaking not only us out but all the grown-ups too. Guess parents aren't fearless after all....
