Mommy picked us up from school and took us to her foot doctor. We had to wait in the waiting room for a very long time at dinner time. So, we did the best we could running around, singing, dancing, snacking. We got many, many looks from older people in the waiting room who clearly forgot what it's like to have little kids. After some stares, Mommy broke the ice with this little gem.
If you think this is bad, be grateful that you aren't on our six hour flight to California this time tomorrow night. This doesn't seem so bad anymore, right?
Well, the older people looked at her and chuckled and then things got a bit better. Thanks for looking out for us, Mommy!
Then we headed to the back room where the doctor asked Mommy who was going to keep us still while her feet were in plaster for ten minutes. She looked at him and said, 'we'll see...."
I'm pretty sure everyone who was in this office tonight has stories to share with their family over dinner tonight. We won't be forgotten anytime soon. We weren't bad, just super active and loud and chatty. You know, basic kids!
