Princess Overload

So, Mommy didn't really explain time zones to Christina so well.  At 3:15am Pacific Standard Time, Christina woke up for the day.  Christina was super stoked that she slept in but Mommy explained that even though her body is saying 6:15am Eastern Standard Time, the time zones are very different and Mommy was totally sad that the day started so soon after bedtime.

So, Mommy took Christina on some adventures.  Can you say Starbucks?

Once eveyone else woke up, we had breakfast and then, guess what?  Cousin Lauren and Aunt Katie came over and told us that we were going on a super special cousin filled adventure?  Wanna guess what we were doing?  Well, you'll have to wait a bit longer because I have a story to share first.  When Lauren say my hair in two big side ponytails, she wanted them, too.  Way cool!  Chrissy doesn't have enough hair for two ponytails, so cousin Lauren and I can be twins today- hooray!

Back to our adventure, you say?  Well, what options are there in Southern California if you want to see lots and lots of princesses?  Legoland? No!  Seaworld?  No!  Disneyland, you say?  Actually, YES!!!!!

Once we parked our car on Elmo, row 4D  we took the really cool trolley to the park.  P-A-R-K, yes, I can S-P-E-L-L!

Lauren sat next to Chistina and Mommy snuck in some cousin pictures.  We sure look ready for a day of fun in the sun, don't we?

I think it might just be impossible for all of us to look at the camera at exactly the smae time, so thankfully Mommy takes lots of pictures so you can see all of us smiling at the camera, just not necessarily at the same time.
Love Lauren's smile!  Too bad the Burts are looking at something else!

Us girls with the Queen of Hearts?  Wowsers, this really is heaven on earth!

Then it was off to ride the rocket ships and, man, was that fun!  On the way out we posed for this here beauty under the rocks.  Cousins rock!  Hey, that's funny!

Mommy and Christina love the carousel in New Jersey and were were really excited to find that there are musical horsies that live in California, too!  The difference is that you can ride these horsies in the winter.  How cool!

Aunt Katie, Lauren and I rode with the bigger horsies up front.  Wait, I just tricked you.  A circle doesn't have a front.  Ha!

Snow White right in front of me?  Pinch me, I must be dreaming!  We are so lucky and we don't even know it!

Cinderella, you ask?  Funny story.  We saw Cinderella but there was a super duper long line. Mommy dropped next to me and we whispered the following conversation:

Mommy: Samantha, do you remember when you dressed up as a princess for Halloween?

Me: Yes.

Mommy: Well, the real Cinderella is on vacation in Florida right now. The Cinderalla you see is really just a girl dressed up like Cinderella just like you did for Halloween. Do you really want to wait in line for 45 minutes to see someone dressed up like Cinderella or would you prefer to ride more rides?

Me: More rides.

Yep, we have real, big girl Mommy Samantha conversations that Christina couldn't understand. So, with that we moved on from the princess meet up place to check out.

Check out us watching an impromptu show.  See that really neat button I'm wearing to tell everyone it's my very first visit to Disneyland?  Aunt Katie got it for me.  Yay for Aunt Katie!

Christina thinks Aunt Katie and cousin Lauren time is the greatest, too!

Mommy and me. Love, love.

Christina was a bit scared of the Flying Dumbo ride.  At home, we have Elmo's Flying Fish. Between you and me, it's really the same ride with different animals, but Christina is a baby and doesn't know that.  Thank goodness for Daddy sitting next to her!

After a morning filled with rides and fun shows, we stopped for a pizza lunch.  Daddy and Aunt Katie went to get food, but Aunt Katie surprised us with an art project to entertain us during the wait.

That's my super duper concentrating face. It's hard to stay inside the lines when you're four.

Being at Disney with my favorite Daddy.  What could be better?  Nothing!

Daddy rescued Christina during the It's A Small World Boat ride.  It was a little too scary for babies!

Hmm, we need to get across the park but our feet are tired. What should we do?

Train ride!

The train takes you through the whole park.  What a great idea!

Another great idea?  Instead of waiting in line to see the princesses, have them come to us.  What do I mean?  Hunker down with some ice cream and watch the parade! Complete with Burt signature smiles, of course!

Christina thinks she sees a princess!

She's right!

Lots of princesses!

Oh, my goodness!

Looks like Disney has a few extra princesses today!

Loves, loves!

What a perfect day with Aunt Katie and cousin Lauren at Disney.  Can't wait to come back for another visit!
