Family And Friends- I Love You!

We got up super early to play with Grandma and Grandpa and Joshua, of course!  Then we piled in the car and headed over to Panera to get bagels for our breakfast with Vanessa and Elizabeth.  Bad Panera gypped us out of two bagels, which meant that there weren't enough to go around.  Silly Panera, please don't do that again, okay?

It's so great to see Vanessa and Elizabeth's family and Dean again.  I love having friends in all different places so we can visit them whenever we're in town.

Vanessa and Elizabeth's Mommy thought Chrissy was old enough to eat bananas.  Mommy said that Chrissy won't eat at home, only at school.  Miss Sarah thought that was a bit silly, and truthfully, so do I!  So, out came a banana and a baby-sized spoon. Mr. James was totally up to the task and Mommy took an unauthorized break from Motherhood.

Chrissy was all over the spoon, literally.

Or, should I clarify... spoons!
Then Chrissy was passed on over to Mr. Dean.  Nothing like scaring the bejeebus out of him with a little baby in his arms!

Grabby Gabby, slow down!
Silly Chrissy, you're not supposed to eat the bowl!
Mr. Dean, rein her in!
Chrissy dropped the spoons a bunch and Miss Sarah was super nice and kept bring her new clean ones.
After slobbering banana all over Mr. Dean, who is now totally scared off of babysitting us anytime soon, Chrissy settled for gnawing on the spoons.
While I enjoyed a rocking cinnamon raisin bagel with a ton of cream cheese.

Banana baby, back for round two.

Must eat bowl, says Chrissy.
While Mr. Dean smiles because he's totally not sure what to do with Chrissy.  Don't worry, Mr. Dean. Mommy often feels exactly the same way!
Chrissy is much better about being passed around than I was at that age.  Miss Sarah was great with her, singing songs and making her laugh until Vanessa got a teensy bit jealous and pulled rank.  After all, Miss Sarah is her mommy.  I totally get it, Vanessa!
Isn't Elizabeth super cute?  She is a month older than I am and is super great about telling me secrets to life that she's learned in her extra time experiencing the ways of the world.  Can you see me in the back trying to learn music on the kiddie piano?
I totally dig musical instruments and this house is where it's at!  We need to visit way more often.  Bam, bam!
Drummer girl, right here!
Hey, I'm pretty good at the grown-up piano.
But not so good that I couldn't use a bit of guidance from Vanessa and Mr. Dean.

In alignment with a three year old's attention span, we quickly rotationed stations to the couch for beloved reading time with Mr. Dean.
He's a great storyteller.

And we're totally great listeners!
We are such a cute bunch of girls!
Sadly, our time came to an end because I kept pooping in my diaper.  Of course Mommy didn't bring enough, but Miss Sarah helped us out with Elizabeth's leftover pull ups. That's me, champion pooper!   I sure hope we can come visit you again really soon!

We headed home and took a great nap and before we knew it, it was dinner time.  For our walk outside for Joshua, Grandma gave me a scarf to wear around my shorts as a belt.  And, boy, did I think that was hot stuff!  I sure wore that scarf proudly!

Dinner time! And that meant off to Spartans with the family and Uncle Travis.  I sat in between Grandma and Grandpa and Chrissy sat in Mommy's lap, when she wasn't in Uncle Travis' lap.  Mommy forgot toys for Chrissy, again!  But, she improvised by snaggin some of my art supplies and handing them to Chrissy.

Chrissy didn't mind at all.

She rather likes eating everything she can find.
Me?  I made lots of art projects.

With lots of different markers.  I asked Grandma to make circles, but not hearts.  She made a heart anyways and I yelled at her.  I said no hearts!  Don't mess with a three year old because we can totally out scream and out cry anyone!
And Chrissy?  Chilled with Uncle Travis, eating the butterfly while I pitched my little fit.
Ponytail?  Not in this here hair!
After dinner we headed to the pet store and I cried because Daddy wasn't there to lift me up.  Thankfully, Uncle Travis was super nice and picked me up super high to see all the fishes.

I may end this post with a close up of my tushie, but rest assured that I really, really enjoyed all my family and friend's catch-up, bonding time today.
